Quick background, I have been blasting and cruising for about 10 years, mostly TRT doses the last two years or so about 250mg Test E/C a week. I’m thinking of joining the military and during my research I found that the drug tests they use don’t look for AAS, but I’m a little fearful about trying to sneak in anything and risk getting thrown out, should I just PCT and make it through basic training or is it easy to sneak that in and pin.
Thanks fellas !

Blasting and cruising for 10 years and now you want to join the military? How old are you?
I was just thinking about the same thing.
Ok regardless absolutely not. Do you PCT clean up before going in. They can go over everything you have at any time. I would not recommend you sneaking in anything. Good luck.

Retired Army here, if you are serious about joining the military, then you should do a comprehensive PCT and try to get your natural production going. Trying to sneak test and syringes into basic is one of the dumbest things I have heard in a long time, and is guaranteed to end your new military career in a hurry.

PCT. But if u dare, go for long lasting esters which doesnt require frequent pinning like: Testosteron Undecanoat (20-34 days)

Generally a bad idea. Anyway a soldier in the field must have their shlt togehter at all times , being tied to a pin is a burden
but i get why u want it since u ( probably ) dont venture out into combat

according to my nephew who got out a few years back its easier to get them there than anywhere else! he said quite a few were always juicing ---

There is no trt in the military. So there is that. Figure it out from here, the obvious.

First of all, “no sir I’ve never used drugs”

Second, you’re not going to get gear into any basic training

You won’t be able to sneak anything into basic training, especially Marine Corps boot camp. That kind of stuff is considered major contraband, and steroids fall under Article 112 of the UCMJ. You’d get kicked out almost as quickly as you got in, and it could permanently disqualify you from reenlisting.

Also another note, hypogonadism is a disqualifier per the DOD guidelines so MEPS gives anyone who has it the DQ.

It is absolutely shocking that you are even considering sneaking something into basic training.

Honestly, you should probably not even join if sneaking test and syringes into basic is even in the realm of consideration for you. That is such an astoundingly horrible idea that reflects very poor judgement and critical thinking that you will probably make another grave fuck up and get yourself kicked out later down the line.

Guys I should’ve prefaced this post with I know is stupid but I’m gonna ask anyway. Thanks to all those that actually chimed in without the criticism.
Bit more info
I’m 35, RN BSN, wanting to join the reserves on the medical side.
PCT it is, I have never done a PCT can someone point me towards the right direction for the best protocol to ensure I’m doing it optimally.

Won’t get anything into boot camp, ait doable but very very risky, best bet would be a good pct, and then after ait you’ll have no issues resuming

If you’re going Reserve, Army, Navy (whether greenside or blueside), or AF, think carefully about your long-term plan. Decide if you’re fully committed to stepping away from certain habits, or if you’re going to pursue something legitimate through proper medical channels and get it approved by your command, there are cases where that’s possible. Also understand that certain behaviors may exist in the military, but that doesn’t mean they’re acceptable or without consequences, so be smart and protect your career. Two of my good friends got on TRT after they got blasted in Iraq and Afghanistan believe it or not... spent a good two years in the wounded warrior regiment before going to a POG/desk job. TBI wrecked them and they ended up going PDRL (permanent disability) and eventually retired out.

If you’re joining a Reserve or Guard unit, keep in mind you can still be activated or move into an AGR (Active Guard and Reserve) role depending on the unit and mission. That’s something to factor into your decision.

Respect for wanting to serve, just go in with a clear head, strong discipline, and the intent to meet the standards expected of you.

Get a commission if you can and retire out the Medical Corps... it's a good gig.

Plenty of folks in the Military will always be taking steroids... that'll never change.

Drug testing can come up for a lot of reasons, but a few common ones are when there’s a noticeable, rapid change in your physique, a shift in your behavior or professionalism, especially in how you deal with leadership or those junior to you, or if someone reports concerns about you.

At the end of the day, your command, whether officers or senior enlisted, has a lot of discretion in how they handle situations. Standards are supposed to be applied fairly, but how you carry yourself in your MOS/job, your professionalism, and your reputation within the unit can influence how closely you’re looked at.

Best move is simple: stay squared away, be consistent, and don’t give anyone a reason to question your conduct.
