How I plan a cycle

Hi Brothers,

Lately I’ve been reading a lot about first cycles or next cycles with little or no information about the poster. Typically if it’s a new member they are asking for recommendations. Well it’s tough to recommend a cycle not knowing a thing about the poster. Experience, health issues, blood work, should be the minimum. Also, guys with previous experience ask about complicated cycles without sharing info about their stats and goals. I am not sure either why everyone is trying every compound? I see for example wet and dry compounds mixed, 2 different orals beginning of the cycle, you get the picture.

So this is how I plan out my cycle.

1. What is the goal? Loose or gain weight and realistic. I don’t plan loosing or gaining 25 pounds in 12 week. Not possible. Realistic attainable goals.

2. Length of cycle. If I am competing timing I’ve very important. Start and end time.

3. I have all my gear and support on hand before starting date.

4. Blood work prior to start to make sure I am healthy and all vitals are normal. I do another blood work 60 days after cycle ends to make sure I recovered. Also, why people do blood work during I have no idea. All markers are going to be wrecked . Only way I would do bloodwork in a middle of cycle if I had health issues.

5. Workout plan. Are you a bodybuilder, power lifter, team sport athlete. They all have different routines and goals.

6. Good eating habits and diet plan to support your goal. Gear is a total waste if you are not consuming excess calorie during bulk or reduced during cut.

7. Cardio a must to keep your heart and overall health in check.

8. Choosing gear based on my goal. I just don’t randomly take gear. They have to compliment each other and work for the same purpose that I am trying to accomplish.

Now once I got everything in order that’s when I start. Take your time and plan out your cycle and you will be happy with the result.
 
Amen brother great post! It's always good to have a plan no matter what your doing and juicing is no exception. Great layout examining goal and choosing appropriate gear and acquiring all necessary equipment prior to starting.

What are your thoughts on an anavar-tbol cycle?

Organ supplements of course, bulking foods check, what about when to start and how long? Already on TRT

I’m interested in your #3 - I’m new to AAS and I always thought ppl took bloods mid cycle to see how they are responding to the gear, or if their e2 is super high - would you be willing to give me some more insight into ur approach when u have some time?

Personally I would not take var or tbol for bulking. My experience I use var during cut and helps me get rid of stubborn mid section fat little easier. Same as Tbol. I know some do use it for bulking but I also use it to cut. It gives me tremendous endurance.

I am always clean bulking so not fan of wet compounds like Deca, dbol or Anadrol.

Start and end time is based on what you want and how much you want to gain. I say for bulking test/primo for 12 weeks should be able to put on nice clean 6-7 pounds if eating right. Again I know some like to add tbol for bulk so you can do it the first 4 weeks.

Anyway that’s how I would do it.

Responding to the gear you can easily tell if you are gaining or losing weight based on your goals. If you start to get worn out, getting puffy, sexual drive is gone, tired all day and no sleep that’s when I would run a mid cycle blood to see what’s off. Otherwise the only thing mid cycle test is going to show is your chart all
Off and rest through the roof. No benefit for me, but hey if you want to spend that extra money go ahead no problem. Some actually freak out when they see how bad their numbers are during.

I always run GW cardarine for lipids, milk thistle for liver, carditone for blood pressure, garlic, astragalus, grape seed extract, p5p, fish oil, and cialis during cycle

Thanks for the very detailed response, it’s super helpful for a AAS newbie. I’ve been on test c 120mg/week trt for about 11ish weeks now and I’m very curious to start my first blast. I’m thinking I will run 350 test/week and 25mg proviron/daily. Run that for 16 weeks. After which back down to 120mg cruise again. If you would be willing to offer your opinion on that I would sincerely appreciate it. Thanks again for you time.

You welcome. Jumping from 120’to 350 you will notice a huge change. You are tripling your dosage. Proviron is always good and no issue.
Now with that said what is the purpose of this? You are trying to gain I suppose?

My goals are Body recomp mostly. Whether or not I lose weight isn’t big deal for me but dropping bodyfat percentage would be nice, strength and athletic performance would be the other goal.

If anything this much test will give you more strength and ability to recover quicker from workouts. Rest will depend on your eating and workout.

to check hormones.
estrogen in the foreground, to know if I need to add/remove increase/decrease AI.
testosterone, to verify both now and in the future testosterone levels, the relationship with estradiol and, why not, to verify if what I am injecting is real and well dosed, if I am an excellent responder or if I need to increase the dosages if not.
thyroid hormones. need t3/t4?
progesterone
prolactin
 
One of the most important points i forgot to mention.

Do not automatically start taking AI’s unless your estrogen is thru the roof. I see more E2 crash than anything else. During 3 decades of gear use I’ve only used AI’ twice maybe due to blood results showing excessive estrogen.
You need estrogen to grow and little excess is ok.

How do you know if there's a problem if you don't have a bloodwork to prove it? Do you wait until you have a heart attack before going to check?

Great thread!

Number 7 really hit home for me. I made the mistake before of not doing nearly enough cardio. Now, I never ever miss a cardio session. What a drastic difference it makes. Not only am I in better shape regarding my cardiovascular health but it makes such a drastic difference in my metabolism and the way my body processes food. Before my body would always try to slow down at times. More so when calories lowered for fat loss but even during long periods of high calorie intake. Now with cardio being there it is such a drastic difference in how well my body processes food. I think it is easy to overlook when we are trying to build muscle and gain weight. I think a lot of us have the tendency to think we don`t need it during this time frame. I assure you this could not be anymore less true. It is a must for overall health and for keeping your body firing on all cylinders. It took me getting a coach to realize this bc at that point I HAD to do it but I am very thankful that I eventually learned the importance of cardio.

My labs are free through my insurance. Check with your healthcare provider
