High blood pressure on test?

SB Labs
If that were an accurate reading, you’d have called an ambulance for yourself, you will 1000% know if your BP is that high or you’ve already stroked out…

somethings off
Blowing out his kidneys in the process. SMH o_O

He hasn't been back on so maybe he did go to the ED.

Like you say it’s the wrist cuff I recall my readings being off the charts and I trashed it

even a small upper arm cuff will give a false BP but usually not like that one ☝🏼

I have seen someone stroke out from high BP,
There’s no way to not know you need a doctor unless you already stroked out

Then it's way too late!
Not sure why they are even allowed to sell wrist 1s
I have OMRON approved by medical association
Actually took it doc appt 1 time was pretty much same as thier machine so it's accurate man

Hope OP is okay.

There’s no way your normal blood pressure is in the 200s you’d be dead by now. If your blood pressure is normally high take care of it man, you’ll be on dialysis or dead at some point. Highest reading I’ve ever gotten on myself was in the 170s and at that level you don’t feel well, you have a migraine type headache, eyes hurt and it’s miserable if you don’t have medication.

I do my blood pressure daily, it’s always like this, my doctor prescribed me 2 different medications and nothing helps nothing works

The bottom number was never in the 200s, the bottom number is the number to worry about

You probably shouldn't be using AAS brother. Not because I like telling people what to do but that's a pretty dangerous reading, even the second one. If you care about your health at all, get that in check

Take care of yourself man

Actually bro, you need to worry about both of them. The top number indicates when you are about to blow an aneurysm, and the bottom number is the pressure of the blood in between beats, so that's your diastolic pressure with the heart " at rest". FYI, I generally treat any diastolic over 120 and is something to keep an eye on. There is a shit ton of medications out there. If this guy has only prescribed, you 2, and it still isn't working you may want to see another doctor bro... MB a Cardiologist and get some blood work for Protein in the urine and Glomelular filtration as well as BUN and Creatine/ Creatinine among other...

Geez Louise man! Please take everybodys advice and see a cardiologist or go to the ER as soon as you can. The highest mine ever was, was 196/134 and you can bet your ass I knew it. It happened in the middle of a workout and I had to call 911 because I thought I was going to die. I kinda lean towards what @HFO4 was saying. Something is off. Way off.

I mean straight from the web

A blood pressure reading of 212/122 mm Hg constitutes a hypertensive crisis. This is a dangerously high level that requires immediate medical evaluation.

Please follow these steps right now to determine the necessary level of care:

1. Check for Emergency Symptoms

Look for any new, severe, or worsening symptoms. If this reading is accompanied by any of the following, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately:

• Severe chest pain
• Shortness of breath
• Severe, sudden headache
• Vision changes (blurriness, double vision, loss of vision)
• Numbness, weakness, difficulty speaking, or confusion
• Nausea or vomiting

2. If You Have NO Symptoms

If you feel completely normal and have no symptoms at all, take a moment to rest:

• Sit quietly and relax for 5 minutes. Do not talk, use your phone, or move around.

• Ensure your arm is supported at heart level and take the reading again.

• If the reading remains at or above 180/120 mm Hg: Call your doctor or seek urgent medical care immediately, even if you feel fine. Do not wait to see if it goes down on its own.

Important Warnings

• Do not take extra doses of medication unless a doctor explicitly instructs you to do so right now. Lowering blood pressure too quickly can sometimes be dangerous.

• Do not rely on home remedies (like drinking water, herbal teas, or taking a hot shower) to bring a reading this high down.

Please prioritize getting in touch with a medical professional right away.

This is a follow up on your 177/119 reading posted today.

A blood pressure reading of 177/119 mm Hg is still dangerously high and is approaching a hypertensive crisis (defined as 180/120 mm Hg or higher). Because your bottom number (diastolic) is at 119, this requires immediate attention.

Please take the following steps right now:

1. Check for Emergency Symptoms

If this reading is accompanied by any of the following symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately:

• Chest pain or pressure
• Shortness of breath
• A severe, sudden headache
• Vision changes (blurriness, spots, or loss of vision)
• Numbness, weakness, difficulty speaking, or sudden confusion
• Back pain or nausea

2. If You Have NO Symptoms

If you feel entirely normal right now, your body is still under significant stress from this pressure.

• Rest: Sit quietly in a comfortable position for 5 minutes. Avoid talking, looking at your phone, or moving around.

• Retest: Take your blood pressure one more time.

• Action: If the reading remains this high (especially if either number crosses into 180/120 or higher), contact your doctor immediately or go to an urgent care clinic. Do not wait to see if it drops on its own.

This one hits a nerve with me. Went through this shit with my father for his untreated BP. After 8 strokes, I buried him at the age of 58. You need another doctor if your doctor accepts that as normal. BTW, who TF called him a doctor?

This COULD kill you short-term, if you're lucky, but it WILL kill you long-term if you're lucky. Each heart beat is causing your arterial walls to get harder and harder. You'd understand why I said "if you're lucky" if you've seen what strokes can do to people. Aphasia, paralysis, speech therapy, etc. Aphasia is pretty cool though. Affects everyone different. Some people can understand language, but cant speak it. Some people can speak it, but cant understand it. Its a roulette wheel, dont know which version you'd get.

I wont beat around the bush and sugar coat my response. I like the down the barrel of a cannon method...

Get your fucking BP corrected nomatter what you have to do (stop AAS) or come back her in 6-12 months and Ill recommend some cool assistance devices to help you do shit like hold a spoon so you can eat after the stroke has paralyzed half of your body.

I wasnt gonna post because my own stubborn fucking father wouldnt listen to me and I've lost a few stubborn fucking buddies that wouldnt listen to anyone but I hope you're not like that.

With all sincerity my brother, go get that fixed. I hope you listen.

I’d be very curious to see how your blood work looks like. Especially kidney function and heart. How a full heart echocardiogram looks like etc. I’m pretty wreckless when it comes to gear usage and I push the limits with my health, but I think I’d hang it up if that blood pressure was the norm. I do not want to be on dialysis or handicap from the results of a stroke or dead in my 30s.

You need to see a Dr ASAP... don't blow this off, if your numbers have been elevated for a long time. Have a kidney eval done too.
