Help a old man understand paying with BTC!

Ok I’m old school and been paying western union, however new place im trying out Sigma for the first time and they
Only accepts bitcoin and one other crypto
They gave me a long string of letters and numbers and said that’s their bitcoin ID.
What’s the easiest way to buy btc then how do I pay them using that long ID alphanumeric number?
I use cashapp to buy btc right there in the app, then pay with btc right there in the app. When you go to pay, it'll ask for their btc address, which is that long number.

Not a fan of Crypto either but having worked AML cases for several large financial institutions in the US, I have an extremely jaded view of money launderers favorite choice of facilitating internationsl financial transactions.

I use Coinbase. Instant withdrawal. Send to Sparrow. Then to the address.

All within a few minutes. Easy peasy.

I think some of you really worry too much. Seriously. FEDS have much more thing on their plate and Back logs of BIG cases to catch up on. THey much more better things to do then to WASTE funding and court time to go after some junky on a case for buying some shit for personal use. But hey, to each their own.
Youre a little misinformed on how the feds work, my friend. Hopefully you never have to experience this. Trust me when I tell you, the feds dont waste anything.

I can't figure out bitcoin either. Do they all make you upload a picture of your ID and do face ID?

One website lets you pay by Bitcoin but not through Paypal or CashAP.. and the bitcoin website itself has a "waiting list". So what's the easiest web version or ap? Cashap let me buy it but only lets me sell it..there isn't anything to click for entering the long wallet address to make a payment.

What exactly are you clicking to "pay" where you enter that wallet/long number.

Mine lets me buy it.
But the only thing it gives me as an option is to sell it.

If you're using cashapp, go to the BTC section, and you should see this screen:1000000906.png. Click on the circled button, and it'll bring up this screen: 1000000904.png.

This was a while back and I’m well versed in the subject now.
Be careful out there. Especially buying the stuff we like to buy. My cashapp was suddenly closed one day and the explanation was “using bitcoin to hide illicit purchases” I was just buying peptides on the grey market.
So now I use Exodus which they don’t care what you do.

Yeah, I don't think that had so much to do on your end, as much as it had to do with the seller. My guess is the seller got flagged somehow, and people who sent them money, ended up as collateral damage. But you're absolutely right though, about needing to be careful.

I do not make purchase directly from the exchange with which I purchase the btc
CashApp suspended me on my first purchase of btc as well, although they would not
provide a reason and held my btc for weeks. I canceled them and would not use them
again for any reason. I send to a wallet, Sparrow, for example, then send the BTC to
the vendor. Need a cold card to sign off, however.

Thank you.. mine looks different than this. Maybe I need to update..

That's what I keep reading as well. We need an external wallet yet everyone is using something different here too.

My CashApp account just got suspended this morning after a couple purchases from K4L lol. At least I'm stocked up on everything for a the next year or so, will have to figure out another method eventually though. But seriously fuck Big Tech, they get to do whatever the fuck they want, be the most horrible pieces of shit on earth, but we try to make ourselves healthier and bypass the other most horrible pieces of shit on earth (Big Pharma) and we get slapped for it.

As for ID/face ID, typically, yes.

Buying BTC is pretty painless once you pick an app like Cash App or Coinbase. You just buy the amount you need, then paste the vendor’s BTC address into the send field and double-check it before confirming.

I got the hang of it the same way I figured out deposit methods on https://peakycasino.net/guide/, since both walk you through payments step by step and make the process feel less intimidating.

Which platform allows instant buys and "withdrawals"? I am fairly new to all this too. I see Paypal is instant buy, but has a 4-7 day hold. Kraken also has an instant buy but a 7 day hold. I would like to send some off, but now have a couple transactions on hold.

I think it depends on the funding method. CashApp holds for minimum 7 business days if it's a bank transfer (don't ask me why, domestic bank transfers happen in 24hrs or less, and CashApp support has never been able to explain it to me, my guess is they're earning interest on everyone's shit while they make them wait). But if I use Coinbase and find it with a debit card through a linked PayPal account, it's available pretty much instantly.

Go to your cash and convert USD into BTC. Then you buy how many that you're order is and enough for shipping and $1 to immediately send payment. Then from a proton email you have created ask for his BTC wallet address . Important to use the proton email or most won't answer you. Then you copy the BTC address you bought and paste it to their wallet

If you link your debit card to Cash App and transfer the funds to your account from it before going in and buying bitcoin it is available immediately

I would buy Bitcoin on an exchange with a debit card so the funds are available instantly. Then just copy and paste the vendor's address into the send field and confirm.

I buy BTC with a debit card for instant access, then send it right away. For spending crypto, I like https://moonbet.co/ because deposits and withdrawals are fast and easy. Just paste the address in the send field and you're set.
