Help a old man understand paying with BTC!

Ok I’m old school and been paying western union, however new place im trying out Sigma for the first time and they
Only accepts bitcoin and one other crypto.
They gave me a long string of letters and numbers and said that’s their bitcoin ID.
What’s the easiest way to buy btc then how do I pay them using that long ID alphanumeric number?
 
Say 7 hail Marys and hope like hell you can figure it out... I gave up when they asked for my photo Id and bank account...(n)

Go to the H&B site (in my sig) home page has links at the top for the 3 easiest apps to use and links to 2-3min video tutorials. You can learn it in no time brother. 😎

Exactly! I’ve tried a couple of times and just said to hell with it.
Bank routing number, Checking account number, Drivers license number, SSN, = None of the above

If a source only takes crypto coin for payment, then I will happily continue to give my money to the ones that do not.
 
I think some of you really worry too much. Seriously. FEDS have much more thing on their plate and Back logs of BIG cases to catch up on. THey much more better things to do then to WASTE funding and court time to go after some junky on a case for buying some shit for personal use. But hey, to each their own.
 
I don't understand. It's as simple as sending money from your bank to any exchange. I use several apps from cro.com to binance to kraken to coinbase and even cashapp. Use cashapp if you don't invest and are using it simply to purchase stuff.

Drug LE is not about LAW, its a business, no juice, no squeeze.

They aren't going to spend $120k-180k per month investigating a $300 gear purchase. 😄
 
Remember, gov't agencies are gov't, they pay 10x more than what things should cost. They want minimum 10X return on a bust.

Just an example, a plate carrier and a set of IIIA plates you can get for $350, they pay $2,500-3500.

Right now, they are clocking so many dollars on F3nt, they are flush af.

I always recommend finding a Bitcoin ATM around your area. It’s typically the easiest route.

Exodus has good security behind their wallet services.

Cash app also is a good option. Download the app and sign up. You can buy, sell, and send coin. Also can invest in stocks. You can add cash to your card via CVS and Walgreens as well. Or instant transfer from debit card.

i was very skeptical about bitcoin has i never used it before either... but its really super easy. the tutorials like fletcher said are super easy to follow.

and cashapp is really easy and good to use

I can understand those that don't trust giving out personal info to do a drug deal. I am sure the chances of anything happening are small at best. But i have seen enough times where the government has stepped in to harass the end users over the decades for steroids to know it can happen. If at some point the government wants to get rid of BTC going after the the end user could be one thing they do. And as it has been shown the government doesn't care about cost so an expensive case to them doesn't mean a thing and they have done it before. Fear is something the government uses all the time to keep the sheep in check. I have some crypto invested myself but have never used it for purchases but figure i will at some point. People that have grown up on the internet and keyboards find such things as second nature. Those that grew up with pencil paper and cursive writing have a longer learning curve sometimes.

That is the bitcoin address. You can send bitcoin to any address through cashapp. Also, I hope that's a fake address.

Think of the positive. BTC has been flying lately. 9/10 times I've bought BTC for a gear purchase, my BTC has gone up before the Coinbase waiting period ended and I made money on the deal.

my father was LAPD for 30 years and uncle is currently employed there. Uncles got his own dirt but. When my father was in charge of the narcotics unit he echoed this and saw it. 250k in cash from meth? thats alot of money for the department that made the bust.He and anyone who works in narcotics can tell you they're never trying to end the drug trade. just slip in and take some cash earnings off the big dawgs here and there to keep money flowing into the department. 10k? for hours and hours of paying salaried employees? nah.

out here in LA fentanyl and meth are misdemeanor tickets most of the time if the cops even wanna bother with the paperwork. they're not concerned with little fish.

Cash app is pretty easy. I come from the old school was not to hard to learn to use.
