Got to drive a hellcat Charger last week at a racetrack in Ohio. Was supposed to drive a Porsche 911 but apparently it was having issues so they put me in the Charger.
Of course I had to take a ride along dude with me but he was a cool instructor. Younger dude that just kept telling me to hit the turns harder.
The first lap I was definitely cautious about the power but after that I drove the fucker like I owned it on the last two laps. It was only 3 laps but it was a surprisingly long track.
It was mostly a road course but there were two long straight aways where I could really lay into it out of the turn. Fucker definitely had some balls. Would have preferred a manual tranny but none of the cars were manual so Ohwell. Still a pretty cool experience. I had a GTR in front of me and I gained and probably could have passed the dude if I was allowed.
