So one website (not a source here) is removing all their GLP1s due to “ongoing changes in the regulatory and compliance landscape”. I’ve heard rumblings regarding Eli Lilly and the gray market before but never actually saw the products becoming unavailable, just name changes. Anyone else hear anything?

Ofc big pharma wants to continue making their billions of dollars like the scumbags they are.

because the mark up big pharma is putting on these drugs is outrageous.

TBH... I hope GLP-1s are a thing of the past. And people will actually have to diet again instead of eating icecream for supper.

There was some ruling against a "Research Use Only" distributor and the courts concluded they knew it wasn't for research. So it's starting to scare all the other RUO places selling peptides. The biggest 3 are obviously going to be Sema, Triz, Reta b/c of Big Pharma.

Watched some social media yesterday and the figured the biggest players will be the firs to go and some claims they are taking in $30mm a month in revenue. Not sure what the "biggest" site is these days. Check some old book marks for US vendors and most still had 'em up.

As long as Chinese vendors are still pumping out quality GLPs I'll stick with them.

They have tons of money and lawyers, they can bury this place with lawsuits and legal fees knowing they won’t win. Arnold thinks he’s protected because he just sells advertising space and doesn’t sell products directly, which is probably true from a legal standpoint, but that won’t stop them from filling lawsuits even if they know they won’t win just to bankrupt this place; and it would probably work. I’ve seen several race tracks and gun ranges put out of business by those tactics

I understand what youre saying but playing devil's advocate the first GLP-1 was introduced in 2005 for use, though the background research for them began in the 1980s.

Semaglutide was created in 2012 by Novo.

I believe patents are 20 years before generics can begin legally be manufactured. But due to shortages compounding pharmacies were allowed to make generics early.

I feel like once you open that door theres no going back.

Novo sold $26 billion in 2024 worth of ozempic and in 2025, the first 9 months was $20 billion so they're on track for just as big of a year

GLP’s are not priced because they’re expensive to make their priced high because competition is blocked. For a one month supply, the peptide itself cost between 1-10$ at scale they could easily profit at double their cost, but none of that matters. They’ll sell it as high as insurance will pay what they’re doing right now is recovering all the R&D loss from the thousands of failed drugs prior. Evergreenimg should be illegal too idk how it’s not lol. As soon as the patent runs out, they’ll make dosing device only changes, slight formula changes (exact same active ingredient) or even required dosing changes. None of it does anything Except new patent.. If you try to compete with them (capitalism imo).. C&D escalates to civil action, banks and payment processors freeze accounts and assets to avoid risk and its goneee

People sometimes forget that big pharmas #1 job is to return as much profit as it can to their stock holders just like every other company. They re not a charity. People that work for companies like big pharma and get paid way more than most don't complain about their salaries. I worked for a big player in a different field during most of my career and got paid more then most and was happy to take my pay check home every 2 weeks. Plus when big pharma does well my stock portfolio, 401k, IRA goes up and i don't complain.

Great. I actually came here just to make this thread but saw it was already posted. So the places we mostly use here (that are also selling gear which is already long banned in the states) will still be pumping out the GLPs and other peptides?

I will say it could cause a huge price increase if the Chinese producers are slow to meet the additional demand which is plausible could be the case right now. The grey area markets for peptides in the US is HUGE, and wealthy, these soccer moms are paying like $400 for a vial of reta at some wellness clinic which is insane lol, so if that spills over into the market we use it could put major pressure on prices.

Yet there are dopes out there encouraging your average Joe to sell GLP1s on discord, session telegram, custom websites etc telling them yeah, no one cares, you are fine, soccer moms have been selling it for years.

The same dopes will post pictures of their inventory and brag about their volume. Yeah, they will be just fine.

Getting the impression all the people who are mad at “Big Pharma” don’t actually understand how businesses work, how much money is involved in bringing something like Reta to market (I’m sure the last several years of intense studies have been super cheap in addition to fighting people who are ripping off their intellectual property), or why they even get to enjoy these drugs in the first place.

Personally, I’m thankful for “Big Pharma”. Everyone who’s mad should probably figure out how to be smarter about stealing their shit.
