Started TRT at the end of April. I'm working with a local clinic to get dialed in and to have a prescription on hand as needed.

45 years old
145#
11-12% BF

Lifting heavy 3x weekly, LISS cardio 5x weekly, 180-200 grams protein daily, 2500-3000 calories per day

Started out at 120mg weekly, split into EOD injections of 34-35mg.

Clinic gave PRN anastrozole but i have not needed it.

I've got thalissemia minor, which is sort of like half-assed anemia. it makes my red blood cells less red, smaller, and not quite as effective as normal RBCs. It doesn't cause any symptoms other than wonky blood markers like these (largely unaffected by the testosterone anyway):

I forwarded to my clinician and asked if i could move up a little in dose.

Any recommendations for moving up? I'd like to get my baseline total around 1000 at whatever maintenance dose gets me there.

A blast is certainly in my future, just dialing in for now.

Was planning to up test and add primo. But, with my e2 being as low as it is, does that seem like it might be a bad idea (i hope not, already have the primo on hand)

I would go to 150mg weekly from 120mg for starters personally to get you closer to that 1000 as long as no issues with your clinician etc. If it's your first time, stick to just test. No need to add extras in when you're fresh and new to this. See how you do with higher test(300mg is a good first jump) and then slowly titrate up. Get the most from the least amount you can with it being your first time. I know a lot of guys who have amazing first runs with 300mg-400mg of just test and a good solid diet!

Your in a good place right now, if you want to get a higher TT , move up to 140-150 mg for a month and retest and see if your near that 1000 your looking for and of course get a ultra sensitive E2 .
I wouldn’t add anyt compounds for now, if things start going south, you won’t know which is causing it , get your TRT situated.

Thanks guys, yeah, 150ish was what i was thinking.

I appreciate the advice to stick with a test only first blast too.

I maintain awesome levels on 100mgs of CYP weekly or 50mgs shot 2x a week and I do 2-3 pumps of androgel per day.

It's like using sust bc of the faster and slower esters, in a sense. If that makes sense.

I have been around 1000 nanos for years on this regiment. My FREE T sometimes is in the 300s. Yes you read that right. 300 LOL

Its literally incredibly off the charts. My doctor "used" to say Wesley we need to talk about lowering your dose bc of the free T. And I always say the same thing, if you ever dare call me again about my levels I am going to fire you. She never does.

Mind you I fired about 5 doctors prior to her over the past 10 years. You always want to give your doctors low levels. NEVER let them see your true levels. If you want to know your true levels, do them privately through a brand like PRIVATE MD LABS, etc. The second you show your doctor you are in range or slightly high they will try and take you off or lower it.

Trust me I have had HRT scripts since I was 23 years old and I am 48 now. I have seen and dealt with it all.

Dont forget an AI can increase your FREE T dramatically. This is why mine are so high. I use EXEM at low dose, 6.25-12.5mgs

Once in awhile my left nipple will puff up, it always has, and will try and get gyno. I crush it with Letro for a week and then return to my exem. Easey Peasey.

Thanks for the additional insight. Yup, these labs were my own, separate from the clinic. I intend to keep up with them on my own.

That does add to my ideas now. If the clinic says they'd rather keep me at the level i am at, i can be totally fine with that and blast on my own whenever i want to go higher.

Thats the way to do it!

That's about what my levels are when I'm on 130mg a week. Right around 800. I was in the 200s before I started. Doc wants me in that range

Are you with your PCP or a TRT clinic? I get "single use" vials at 200mg/ml. So I have 70mg leftover and can just run it a little higher if I want
