So I saw this protein bar at a grocery store called,"Epic Bar" and look at the ingredients, Beef- organic beef, walnuts, dried cherries, lactic acid starter culture, salt, celery powder, fine black pepper, crushed habanero. This is for the beef bar. The other are Lamb, Bison, and turkey. I did try the beef bar and didn't mind the taste of the bar as it tasted like a beef jerky. 13 grams of protein but sadly 240 mg of sodium. They stated on their webpage that they are A Gluten Free/Paleo/Grass fed protein bar. Whey protein in general give me diarrhea so I try to stay away from whey product. But I have to say that this is a favorite for me. I know I need to eat chicken, beef, etc. but as a college student, this help with getting something in between classes.

Probably the Quest Bars for me. They're one of the "cleanest" if you will, with the least amount of bullshit additives. They are tools though. I really only use them when I have a sweet tooth. I can't eat them when I'm hungry, otherwise I eat too many! I even remember eating them almost 2 weeks out from a few contests.

home made: protein powder, whole organic oats, and nuts n more peanut butter to hold it all together with a tiny bit of water. you can add things like natural honey drizzled over the top, vanilla/chocolate icing, etc if you want to add more flavor. you can also add the nuts of your choice sprinkled over a drizzled topping, etc. when you make a batch of them, each bar is around 22g of protein and 40g of carbs. very low sodium and sugar especially if you ditch the toppings on them.

Protein bars may contain abnormal amounts of sugar. Sugar from regular sources, for example, natural product are thought to be healthier after workouts than different sugars, and numerous wellbeing specialists contend that sugar from natural product enhances athletic execution.

Id go with Quest as well, love the coconut cashew and their protein chips aren't that bad either. Id stay away from their pasta though, i thought it was horrible

Quest has a wide variety and most are good. I just started eating bars called fit crunch. They are baked with soft cookie center and have caramel and peanuts on top. They only have 16g of protein so I usually eat one bar and a Greek yogurt to snack. Almost 30g of protein between both.

Quest. Apple pie, s'mores and white choclate raspberry are where it's at. Have also bought the OhYeah bars in the past and liked them also. Only eat them every so often when I'm on the run and don't have time to chow down.

I like my own the best. Not so damn dry and I can control the amount of protein that goes in them :) And NO sugar :)

GNC frequently has sales on quest bars... any of them microwaved for a little bit then throw some walden farms anything on it and BAM sweet tooth demolished. Otherwise I always have them in my bag in between classes...

Oh yeah bars hands down the best tasting bar on the market, tastes like a babyruth;)

I do not have a favorite protein bar. Personally, I think they are crap. I would not eat them. They taste sweet, and yet they claim no sugar. That is because the FDA lets them get away with using sugar alcohols and maltodextrin without reporting them as carbohydrates. The ingredients list is chock full of stuff that you would never want to purposefully insert into your diet, but you do it anyway because of successful marketing. It's a "protein" bar. Sometimes the protein is ground up cow hooves (collagen proteins).

Don't eat them unless the only choice is this or a Snickers, and even then the Snickers might be better for you.

You should goggle Epic Bar. Best protein bar I enjoy eating with no sugar.
