Been having difficulty with my stomach the last month or so..

Extremely bloated when I wake up in the morning. My last meal is 6-7pm with no snacks before bed (10-11)

The last month or so, I wake up and my stomach is extremely bloated and I feel like I've ate a 4 course meal sometime in my sleep..

Doesn't matter what I eat or don't eat for my last meal, it's the same outcome

Bloated, gassy, extremely "full" feeling, which has affected my morning eating. I don't feel like this any other time of the day.

Currently on 380mg of test, and my daily vitamins that I've taken for years.

Would some digestive enzymes help? Anyone have experience with a reputable brand?
 
I tried onnit's digestive stuff; it made it worse. Just a good probiotic should help. I like l reuteri before bed.
 
I use to make l. Reuteri yogurt, I’m planning on going back to it, stomach felt pretty good when I ate it everyday.
 
It sounds like something your eating is not agreeing with you.
You could try a digestive enzyme with your meals. That may help.
You could also try fiber before bed. Plain old metamucil.
Was a game changer for me. Wake up. Everything comes out and I'm ready to go for the day.

Carnivore isn't a "gimmick" diet but thanks for the advice 😘
Typical ask for device then act like a know it all. I've been where you are. Was all in on that eating 200g of fat a day with no fiber no carbs wondering why I'm bloated all day. Then I started eating stuff like lots of oats and fruits with leaner meats like round eye, chicken, salmon, and what you know I shit 1-2 times a day and I'm not bloated anymore. Good luck to you.

It’s easy to slow your digestion with a diet like yours. If you want to keep doing it just have some Metamucil with your meal a couple times a day. Most guys I know on keto or paleo always do this, I do. It’s nothing crazy it just makes things move a little quicker in a good way.

If you are crapping within an hour every time after you eat something is wrong. Most people wake up and take a couple of shits and go about their day. I think shitting after every meal is an issue.
Has anything changed in your diet? Have you added in or changed brands of protein powder? The biggest issue I see with people doing the carnivore diet is a lack of protein and nutrients that one would get from fruits and vegetables. Regardless of the type of meal plan a person follows I feel supplementing with psyllium fiber is a huge benefit as most people don’t get enough fiber as well as water.

I've been to a different doctor's and they said it's the gastrocolic effect and it's perfectly normal.

Imma try the metamucil. I also altered some things slightly to allow for a little carbs

In my opinion eat what you want, drink what you want it’s your life. But I can tell you that the carnivore diet is seriously flawed and can really tear up you digestive tract. Look up the positives and the negatives, don’t just read what agrees with you because you’re convinced it’s a good diet. The concept for carnivore was that our ancestors lived off primarily meat and food produced from animals but that’s not even close to true. That’s all tv and false narratives. People have even meat forever, yes.. That’s true and it is a great source of protein. Depending on what regions of the world they lived in depended on what that meat source was. But humans have foraged and eating berries, grains, and vegetables since the beginning. Your body needs all of the components to help your body digest. And agree or not it is a social media gimmick. I’ve seen it do ok in people for a few weeks then from my experience it always ends up with temporary or even permanent digestive damage. You can’t take enough vitamins to substitute the essential nutrients you get from fruits and vegetables. You can cut grains but without natural sugars from fruits and carbs from grains, your body will be sluggish, and you will not absorb the proper nutrients. Hence you shitting after every meal. I wake up drink coffee and take a shit every single day like click work. I have zero bloat or digestive issues. That’s just my input.. the only other thing I can say and is usually issue number one is drink more water. Everyone says they do but buy a container that measures it and see how much you actually drink. Hydration or dehydration can change everything.

Agreed and well said. I’m still shocked as to shitting after every meal. That definitely isn’t normal a a good sign you aren’t absorbing nutrients if you are expelling food that frequently.

Not sure if you have fixed it yet. Organic Ginger tea in the morning and before bed ! Give it a try. It works wonders
