Seems I talk to more and more people that had no idea DHT had a negative impact on the prostate. So you have all heard of prostate problems and prostate cancer, why is it not addressed more here given testosterone and its derivitives will increase your chances of prostate hyperplasia and prostate cancer.
DHT is the root cause of harening and swelling of the prostate. So if you are old enough to have had the wonderful no homo misfortune of having a finger up your ass (not at Goths parties) you know whats going on. Or do you? The Doc is checking to see if your prostate is hard or soft more like a jelly filled bag. Firm and squishy with elastic type quality is what he is looking for. If it feels harder and less plyable or flexible he can get concerned that swelling might be present and require the necessary blood work to diagnose further.
So why is it so important for those of us on gear? Truth is even not using gear one should be using a DHT reducer such as saw palmetto. Some will even use a stronger aid such as propecia on cycle and saw palmetto off cycle. Yeah Tread but I'm only 25 brother, I'm cool right? No, prostate damage is very slow and even most prostate cancers will have been present for many years before signs show up unless you have regular tests to find it. The real problems are usually seen by the time we hit 40 and beyond which include frequent urination, having to urinate long before a younger person would with much less urine coming out and pressure issues or having a hard time getting it going. You hear the kid in the stall at the mall or movies and it sounds like he is running a fire hose in there or a water cutter with this extreme pressure while you're 2 stalls down trying to get the trickle rolling! So maybe you still have water cutter health and thats great but in order to keep it you need to play it smart and cut DHT NOW!
The reason for the problems above are the prostate is becoming less flexible. That means it can't hold as much urine back and it also means it can't cause the sort of pressure that 20 yr old has that can urinate over the prison fence! Kinda like when you have a nice flexible water hose and crimp it and the water blows 20 feet. Now think of grandma's 20 year old hose out in the flowerbed thats all hard and funky and you cant get a good crimp so the water just kinda flows with poor squirt action in 4 directions with no real distance or pressure since its no longer flexible. Had you taken care of the hose it would be fine but instead you just just pissed yourself!

If you get to be 70 and you don't have prostate cancer then you proved the supps worked and if you still piss like a racehorse at 50 you proved it as well. Spread the word on saw palmetto and how important all the supps are on and off gear. These are huge issues for men not using gear so I can assure you they are mega issues for men that do use!
