physique still holding! and im up a little weight this week. think its estro related and some water but i have bloodwork tuesday, full panel so we'll see!
when i woke up i felt sloppy as hell but after training and some bjj cardio felt like I looked pretty okay.

i really despise traveling throws a semi wrench at me that I have to dodge a bit but over the years now its getting way easier. only hang up is sleep that is more miss then hit when traveling but]
i try not to think about it too much and sort of create a self fulling prophecy.

2nd week june have last trip, long one, 7 days roughly but with an airbnb and my son wrestling all day think it will be one of the easier trips despite having to drive 13 HOURS.
after that home until after show, basically cleared my summer travel schedule for the most part to focus on this.

still trying to figure out how I am gonna train with him, might end up missing one day either on arrival or return depending how i schedule it, since i basically have to dedicate two whole days to driving, so may have to double up rest days or training days that one week, before or after. just depends well see how it goes. may end up being a non issue.
Ive found sometimes things just workout if you dont think too much.

was raining BAD today, so got to bjj and just me and coach.
we did 5 rounds of sparring with each other. lol I got pretty fucked up, and its the coach who broke his wrist so i have to be careful as well, fighting against someone better then me
and also with a handicap since im being mindful of his wrist.
was fun had some good stuff and hes one of the few that lets me practice my wrestling which is always fun and gets my heart rate up.

forgot to mention my daughter got attacked at bjj yesterday lol

a boy she spars with every so often, who is fairly new, i had noticed early on he gets super frustrated with her. hes huge as well, shes 8 70lbs and pretty big for her age, most think shes 11 or 12,
that boy is definitely 11 or 12 and hefty. maybe 110 115?

well anyway after the round they shook hands and when she turned around that kid jumped on her, grabbed her in a headlock.
was actually trying to hurt her, she was semi off guard obviously and i could tell she was trying to figure out what the hell is happening.
she was defending herself pretty well considering and I yelled at the coach and pointed at them, since im pretty hands off at bjj.

he quickly got to them and separated and she came to me with a few scratches on her arm.

biggest teachable moment for her was this is why we train.
you can be a victim at any moment even in "safe spaces".

if she was just in a fight with an older bigger kid, and walked away with a few scratches, she did great.

she was pretty shook up and super disturbed for a few minutes, since besides tournaments this was her first REAL fight.

she brushed it off pretty quickly and started sparring with someone else, i had her go with a very friendly boy shes very familiar and friendly with, and the boy who attacked her was made to leave for the rest of the day,

so yea got to see her first fight in real life lol, and she kinda won so good job haha.

CloudLite Belt Squat Belt from bullet proof fitness.
it has a TON of padding, its insanely thick, feels really good. almost supportive in a way. the other 2 i used were very thin and, didnt really realize they were creating a little strain on my herniated disc ever so slightly.
felt really good on belt squats.
 
Very lean 194lbs, I like it, keep going and stay healthy.

should make cut easier since i stayed pretty leanish. Ive basically been starving since we started our first cut in October last year lol.
so whats being a hungry until September? no big deal. cant get any hungrier lol.

last check in tomorrow and we start new macros and stuff.
hopefully we make the stage and dont crash and burn 😝
either way should be fun no matter what happens im sure.

ones a little more fun then the other but its roughly the same in my opinion.

it does have a bit more "sting" to it when youre sub 200 carbs but its all part of the game.

It applies to smaller/lean guys too you know. I was a fat kid and I could literally eat 10 to 15,000 cal a day and still be hungry. There’s never really a point where I’m fully satiated in the off-season even if eating ridiculous amounts of food. When prep time comes, it’s torture but it’s part of the deal. I heard something from Chris Tuttle years and years ago saying when he’s on a deep cut, the hunger is just confirmation that he’s losing body fat. For some reason that seems to work for me.

When I just started losing weight and wasn't really working out or getting steps in, I didn't really get hungry. I mean sure my mood was shit, I was sleeping much worse, but I didn't feel as hungry, and I was eating 500 cals less being 100lb+ heavier.
