@Halfi that belt is MONEY id recommend a large, the XL is freaking big lol. I can make it work

forgot to mention my daughter got attacked at bjj yesterday lol
a boy she spars with every so often, who is fairly new, i had noticed early on he gets super frustrated with her. hes huge as well, shes 8 70lbs and pretty big for her age, most think shes 11 or 12,
that boy is definitely 11 or 12 and hefty. maybe 110 115?
well anyway after the round they shook hands and when she turned around that kid jumped on her, grabbed her in a headlock.
was actually trying to hurt her, she was semi off guard obviously and i could tell she was trying to figure out what the hell is happening.
she was defending herself pretty well considering and I yelled at the coach and pointed at them, since im pretty hands off at bjj.
he quickly got to them and separated and she came to me with a few scratches on her arm.
biggest teachable moment for her was this is why we train.
you can be a victim at any moment even in "safe spaces".
if she was just in a fight with an older bigger kid, and walked away with a few scratches, she did great.
she was pretty shook up and super disturbed for a few minutes, since besides tournaments this was her first REAL fight.
she brushed it off pretty quickly and started sparring with someone else, i had her go with a very friendly boy shes very familiar and friendly with, and the boy who attacked her was made to leave for the rest of the day,
so yea got to see her first fight in real life lol, and she kinda won so good job haha.
