You can easily pickup a cpap on the used market. Insurance pays for them, people dont use them so they sell them. Also check online. What a bunch of horse shit that a CPAP must be prescribed. Doctors are the most brutal gatekeepers to ever live. I know I have sleep apnea because it wakes me up. I also know if I have diarrhea. They gonna tell me I need a script for Imodium next? WTF.
Many of the new machines are automatic. They have a min/ max and that's it. They know when you've stopped and will automatically turn up the pressure to accommodate. It's a pretty wide range too. There is nothing really to adjust like the old ones.U can get them on ebay easy, i dont know how u would dial in the pressure setting without a test though
... and just like that, there was nothing else to be upset aboutI have an xtra resmed 10 lightly used with a couple months worth of new supplies not sure where your at but i dont need it i just got a new 1.

I recommend the Resmed Air Sense 10.

Ive made some adjustments to mine at home a few times. Had to ask the Google how to get into the admin menu. As I got more accustomed to it, I raised the minimum pressure. It was set on a low pressure with a ramp up, but as I was falling asleep and doing that heavy breathing, my wife would tell me I had a light snore. I also turned off the comfort pressure relief.Right on,
They had to adjust my resmed11
I have messed with the ramp. in beginning had to turn it all the way down but once i got use to it turned it all the way.Ive made some adjustments to mine at home a few times. Yes my sleep apnea is pretty severe!

Define irony...What is this, the damn CPAP support forum? Who know so many of you faggots needed CPAPS...
So, when I was tested, I was so amazed at the difference, I wanted a CPAP that minute. The sleep people told me it would take months to get through the doctors, appointments, insurance, and approvals. The next day I went online. I almost drove to Canada to get one, but everywhere I tried wanted prescriptions. I then found a place in Romania that would overnight me a machine. I had it in a day. And yes, the actual machine from insurance took 4 months.
Lots of options, but yes, it's a scam that you need a prescription to get one!

I think i just figured out my next business venture. UGL CPAP machines and accessories.
Already thought about a few names:

Requiring a prescription for CPAP machines (and related equipment like complete masks and heated humidifiers) is not just a formality – it’s a safety regulation rooted in federal law and medical best practices. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classifies CPAP devices as Class II medical devices, which means they pose a moderate level of risk and therefore must be sold by prescription only. In 2018, the FDA reclassified CPAP and other Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) systems from Class III (higher risk) to Class II, specifically noting that these devices “continue to be for prescription use only.” Under federal regulations, any device that requires professional supervision for safe use – as CPAP does – cannot be sold to consumers without a doctor’s order. What are the risks? While CPAP therapy is generally very safe and not prone to abuse, using a CPAP improperly or without proper medical guidance can lead to ineffective or even harmful outcomes. For example, the therapeutic air pressure needs to be custom-tailored to your level of obstructive sleep apnea – too low and it won’t prevent apneas, too high and it could cause discomfort or side effects. Violating FDA regulations for Class II medical devices can lead to civil penalties, including fines up to $100,000 for misdemeanor violations, and may also result in recalls, injunctions, or even criminal charges for serious offenses.I love that the definition of a "harmful outcome" is "discomfort."Oh noes!

But wait, there's more!

Yes. It is a $100,000 crime because it might be... "ineffective" or even "cause discomfort." Wow.

I had that one. Now I got the BiPAP air sense 11Many of the new machines are automatic. They have a min/ max and that's it. They know when you've stopped and will automatically turn up the pressure to accommodate. It's a pretty wide range too. There is nothing really to adjust like the old ones.

Ask the Google how to change the pressure. Its usually in a hidden menu. Gotta do the Up,Up, Down,Down, Left,Right, Left, Right, B,A, Start
and I'm curious if anyone else knows what that code means.![]()

Posting a thread about being unable to get a cpap without a prescription on a forum where you buy prescription-requiring compounds without a prescription.
I can buy 8 gallons of Testosterone without a prescription, but unable to find a CPAP.
Let that sink it.![]()

Nope. Contra. Forever ingrained in my mind. I can't remember the blood code, but definitely used it a few times also. We've gone from Nintendo to CPAP now.Blood code MK

Maybe talk to him about your diarrhea and see if you need that Immodium scrip.I also know if I have diarrhea. They gonna tell me I need a script for Imodium next?

In all honesty, I never realized how doctors are truly in it for the money until I learned about health, peptides and steroids when I started trt (I studied a lot more than trt). They have given me different pills for everything under the sun since my 30s and come to found out ALL those symptoms come from low T!What a bunch of horse shit that a CPAP must be prescribed. Doc was unwilling to accept my ruined undergarments as proof. Needs me to have a colonoscopy in order to diagnose the problem properly. I asked if I should just stick a cork up my ass but he said I’d need a script for it. After all, how the heck would I know the right size cork? I’m not a doctor!Maybe talk to him about your diarrhea and see if you need that Immodium scrip.![]()
