I’ll usually go for yellow rice and chicken for some extra flavor. G Hughes makes a sweet Thai Chili sauce that’s pretty damn good, put that on anything .Eating chicken and rice every day is getting rough.
What are your best hacks or low-calorie sauces to make this daily staple actually taste good?
I was gonna say - copious amounts of salsa. Very tasty and damn near calorie free. I put it on the rice and the chicken to get it down. But lately, I’ve decided I like 90% lean ground beef way more than chicken and have switched it up. Much easier for me to digest as well.
G Hughes has some teriyaki and stir fry sauce that’s really good. Mixing one of them with ground beef rice and fried cabbage is great.
You know other meats and starchy carb sources exist, yeah?Eating chicken and rice every day is getting rough.

not for me my friendYou know other meats and starchy carb sources exist, yeah?
Somebody has already said there’s other protein and carb sources. Man get a little creative. You can make healthy mashed potatoes. Put a little plain Greek yogurt and salt in them and a little skim milk. Use ground beef, ground turkey. Make Asian bowls or taco bowls. It’s endless. Unless you’re prepping for a show you don’t always have to eat plain food.Eating chicken and rice every day is getting rough.

Not a hot sauce but definitely worth mentioning. I recently discovered these D.Hughes sauces. Sugar free. I've tried two. Honey Mustard and Orignal. Both were really good. He has BBQ, wing sauces, dressings, marinade, and steak sauces. Check your local grocery.
Sorry for the brief thread high jacking, but wanted to mention these as sugar free options.
