I use my fitness pal as a tracker. It does show the amount of calories recommended and the amount that I've consumed. But honestly I let the macros guide my eating. My coach sets the numbers and I find the GOOD, HEALTHY, foods to meet them, sometimes the calories match the recommendations, and sometimes they don't.
I'm certain at some level, matching them all is a must... Luckily for me, I'm not quite there yet.
