What the fuck! This is the second time I have gotten blood work by the doctor I am going to, and today they tell me that the free test and total test came back TNP on my results along with Free Cortisol. TNP means "Test not performed." They said the lab said my labs were not suitable for testing?

The reason why this test was requested was because the other lab had me at >1600 total. So my doctor said they needed to send my blood work on to Quest Diagnostics for a LC/MS/MS. Everything I was supposed to be tested for they said that lab said the results were not suitable. What does that mean and now they want me to come in for another blood test to send in a new sample. I am highly confused here.

When I went in for my meeting with my doctor last week she apologized about how they didn't test for the things she asked to be tested.

So what is it? Is it the person that is taking my blood that is fucking up this process? I feel like I'm not getting a straight answer and its very frustrating.

Are u going to quest for blood draw or at Dr office? Sounds like the Dr office didn't handle you sample properly and went bad. Go to quest office and get them to draw directly.

Doctors office. Its really frustating that I now am dealing with this for a 3rd time. I cant be going back there and them saying we didn't handle your labs correctly.

It's likely that your specimen was missing handled in transport. Quest are sticklers about everything down to spelling on the request forms. I've had a lot of experience with them.

So do I just use another lab or what?

I told u what to do, let the doc order the bloods but go directly to quest for the blood draw.

My doctor is going to send me a number to take over for my walk in appoinment? Should I get my tests done this afternoon or wait till tomorrow morning? Will it make a difference since I'm on gear and not natural right now?

Is your Doc cool? What's he gonna think when you Total Test comes back at 2000 - LOL.
labsmd dot com might be an option for you?

Happened to me a few times before I figured out the nurses at the Dr office apparently didn't know what they were doing.

Well I'm going to get blood drawn tomorrow morning at the lab my doc uses instead of letting his nurses do it again. Can't take the chance of one of them not doing it right. My doc is cool and already knows my test levels are through the roof. Reason why I'm getting new labs is because the other lab they used first did capped tests and my levels came back at >1600.

Update..........

Went to the lab myself and had my blood drawn there after my doctor faxed me the proper paperwork to give to them at my appointment. The place even provides an app which allows you to receive your results on your phone. Best decision I have made.
