What's up guys, I weigh about 220 lbs., I'm 6'1, and I don't know whether I should cut or bulk or what, I train 5 days a week, doing push-pull legs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Runnning 400mg test-c & 400mg Eq a week.

Your question is a bit vague, both of these phases can be rather extreme going in each direction, however now in lieu of complicating things and getting yourself all discombobulated.

Have you considered doing a recomp?

You're not necessarily doing the extreme with cutting, and you're also not stressing about putting on size and getting your head off mixed up with numbers on the scale and what not.

Think about a nice recomp, putting on some lean mass, while at the same time changing your body composition?!

The numbers on the scale can still go up while at the same time changing your body composition, feeling and looking a lot tighter, with muscle belly still remaining nice and full.

You look great man, truly, very good base to work with right there.

Think about a recomp.

It would be really difficult for anyone to give you a clean cut suggestion that would put you in a good direction, because no one really knows what your metabolism is up to at this point.
So you can fire things up a little bit, get that metabolism going, and you can still put on size.

I think if you have to ask you already know the answer. Just not what you want to hear typically. I can’t wait to start my cut in a few weeks. I’m all bulked out 😂

Recomp-Recomp-Recomp!!!!!

Cut. You are not that lean and summer is around the corner . Perfect time to cut. As bulking you will be wet and bloated and it's summer time soon.

I didn't consider that at all, to be honest. It sounds appropriate, to be honest.

Guess its cardio time everyday then.
Brother you really don't have to do cardio everyday.

You can hit your cardio fasted.
You'll get the best results with fasted cardio, in the a.m..
That would set your metabolism up for the rest of the day with nutrition partitioning.
You'll fire up the Timbers, you'll get the fairness burning, while at the same time when all your meals come in with the appropriate macros, they will be partitioned and go right to the muscle bellies.

When doing fasted AM cardio you really don't need to go crazy or do much.

20-25 min with the elliptical, on speed 7, holding the outriggers getting your arms going as well.

Or you could do the treadmill on incline, with a fast walking pace, But no holding on to anything, free hand..

With each week you could add on a few more minutes.

With the days that you're not training, just scale back your meals a little bit, don't keep the mules the same as your on training days.. Your carbs, and your sugars from your fruits that is, just scale them back on your off days..

So currently I'm doing 20 minutes on the stationary bike about 3 times a week since at my gym they only have those weird assault runner treadmills but they also ave stariclimbers which I also enjoy. Because of my work schedule, it's hard to get in a workout in the morning.

Those equipment will work just as well, those stair climber things are freaking great, and those running treadmill things are awesome as well.

If your schedules tight, then get your cardio in right immediately after your workout session.. Don't do it before.. do it after..
And if you feel froggy on your off days, go hit a session of fasted cardio in the morning before your first meal..

Trash the bike brother..

By the way, if you can get in in the morning, don't make that your full session, just go and smash your cardio real quick.
Brother you can throw 20 minutes in real quick..
You'll be amazed on what that would do and how it would dictate your metabolism for the rest of the day. You'll be on fire, you'll feel it. Trust me you'll feel the furnace burning.

Thanks G, I'll definitely hop on the stair climber. I'll try and get into the fast cardio whenever possible.

That stair climber is the witch's tit.
Try your best to get it in there in the a.m., but like I said if you can't get the a.m. definitely smash that post-workout..

Stairclimber is brutal! Heart rate gets up to 130-140 pretty fast. Did it today for 30min, but the first 5min felt like 20 lol. Always takes me 5-10 to get used to whatever cardio I’m doing.

The first 5 or 10 minutes are always brutal, to be perfectly honest with you, I shut my eyes and I don't think about anything.
I Just zone out.. I refuse to even peek and look at the time. And whenever I do I'm always like motherfucker that was only 8 minutes..

Haha, I do the same shit but just look around the gym trying not to look at the time but when I do it’s been like 30 seconds 😂

Cardio sux period.
It does.. It's always hard to stay motivated with it, but after you do it you always feel like a million bucks and you're glad you did..
There's people who are on the cardio equipment when I walk in the gym, and I'll be in there for a little over an hour, and when I leave they're still on it. It's like WTF.. 😆

I see it too... they walk like they could outside. Weirdos.

Precisely.. I Don't mean to knock them or ridicule, bless them for even making it in there, But they look the same, and it's the same people for years and years.
But there's this one particular dude, He is the fuzziest motherfucker I've ever seen. He's always wet, He wears these raggedy ass hoodies. I've watched this guy whack away on the elliptical for years. It's all he does. He lost a lot of weight. But those hoodies, they fucking stink. I wanted to buy him new ones.
Not being funny, but he had a beard like Forrest Gump did when he went on that running Marathon. When I walk in, he's whacking away and he's soaking wet, when I leave he's still whacking away. It's crazy.. 🤷🤯

I bet he's in shape!!

Dude, that guy has a gas tank, and a reserve tank and another reserve tank. I never seen anything like it.
And if you looked at him you would never think it.
All he wears is hoodies and baggy pants.. He's probably ripped like a Ninja turtle underneath it..
