we are all born sinners made perfect in Christ Jesus. If you’re trying to correct behavior? Stop. realize you’re already perfected in Christ Jesus and you will enjoy His peace as the fruit of believing that He perfected you forever, in fact you’ll actually behave better as a by product of knowing you’re already perfected because Jesus perfected you, it’s by faith we please God, also by faith we are saved, not by works so no man can boast. Behavior modification is called dead works

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Hebrews 9:14
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Today is the day the Lord has made rejoice and be glad in HIM👊🏼💪🏼🙌🏼
Amen brother. I got sucked into that vain i dotting t crossing rule book garbage as a new Christian. I didn't know any better. That was the most miserable existence. It makes you live in fear and condemnation 24/7. We're all a work in progress and you know beyond words that the transformation is real and genuine. God snatched me out of that way and isolated me to teach me to "Let go and let God". I've never been the same since. Peace at last. Thank God! 🙏

absolutely, works based salvation does create fear, Paul calls that being “bewitched” to the Galatians👇

Galtians 3
O you foolish and thoughtless and superficial Galatians, who has bewitched you [that you would act like this], to whom—right before your very eyes—Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified [in the gospel message]? 2 This is all I want to ask of you: did you receive the [Holy] Spirit as the result of obeying [the requirements of] the Law, or was it the result of hearing [the message of salvation and] with faith [believing it]? 3 Are you so foolish and senseless? Having begun [your new life by faith] with the Spirit, are you now being perfected and reaching spiritual maturity by the flesh [that is, by your own works and efforts to keep the Law]?

we should never fear Gods judgement or Jesus died in vain👇

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].

Thank you LORD:love: :ROFLMAO:💪

we are complete 100%, we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, made perfect and wholly, sanctified! The old identity has passed away, the old self is dead, we are a new creation, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

There is nothing to add to that, except praise His Mighty Name everyday...JESUS said “It is finished"

this 👉Romans 12
Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

this 👉 Hebrews 13:15 Through Him, therefore, let us at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

💯 Big key, "progressively". Life long path of learning and maturing as He roams our gardens pruning us a little bit at a time.

Psalm 34 Summary
Taste and See That the LORD Is Good
Verses 1–3 – Continuous Praise

David vows to bless the LORD at every moment, urging others to join his joyful boasting. Praise is not an occasional act but a lifestyle meant to overflow and invite others to magnify God together.
Verses 4–7 – Personal Rescue
David recalls seeking the LORD and being answered. Fear melted away; the angel of the LORD encamped around him. The poor man’s cry became proof that God hears and saves when danger surrounds.
Verses 8–10 – Taste and Trust
The psalm turns outward: “Taste and see that the LORD is good.” Those who take refuge lack no good thing, while even strong lions go hungry. The believer’s security rests in God, not personal strength.
Verses 11–14 – Lessons in Holy Living
David speaks as a teacher, inviting “children” to learn what it means to fear the LORD: guard your tongue, depart from evil, do good, seek peace, pursue it. Reverence for God shows up in everyday choices.
Verses 15–18 – The LORD’s Nearness
God has His eyes on the righteous and His ears toward their cry. He opposes evildoers yet draws near to the brokenhearted, rescuing those crushed in spirit. Pain does not cancel His presence.
Verses 19–22 – Ultimate Deliverance and Judgment
Many troubles strike the righteous, but the LORD delivers from them all, even keeping every bone intact. Evil will slay the wicked; those hating the righteous will be condemned. The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.

Jesus prays for His disciples and the those who believe in Him by their written word,

He prayed and declared that we are all one with Him and the Father thought Him.

He also declared we are made perfect and be sanctified 🔥 what a powerful declaration💪🏼

John 17

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

A solid word of encouragement for my brothers in Christ

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

To wait is to be vitally connected to, just as in John 15 and John 17 Jesus points out we are connected to Him.

We are literally connected/married/one spirit with Him💪🏼
that is how He renews our strength, it is not of our own will power it is literally Jesus/Holy Spirit within us

One of my favorite versus of all time

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."

Psalm 51:10 is a heartfelt plea from David, expressing his desire for inner purification and spiritual renewal after acknowledging his sins (Psalm 51:1-9 KJV) BibleGateway.comBibleGateway.com+1. The verse emphasizes two key requests:

  1. A clean heart – David asks God to remove the corruption of sin from his innermost being, symbolizing moral and spiritual cleansing King James Bible OnlineKing James Bible Online.
  2. A right spirit – He seeks a renewed, steadfast, and obedient spirit, reflecting a restored relationship with God and alignment with His will BibleGateway.comBibleGateway.com+1.
This verse is central to the theme of repentance and restoration in Psalm 51, which is a prayer of confession and appeal for God’s mercy. It highlights the importance of internal transformation over external rituals, as David recognizes that true righteousness begins in the heart. The surrounding verses reinforce this, showing David’s acknowledgment of sin, his plea for forgiveness, and his hope to teach others God’s ways once restored (Psalm 51:11-13 KJV) King James Bible OnlineKing James Bible Online+1.
In devotional practice, Psalm 51:10 is often cited as a model prayer for personal repentance, spiritual renewal, and the pursuit of a life aligned with God’s guidance. It encourages believers to seek God’s transformative power to cleanse their hearts and strengthen their spirits.

WHO ARE YOU ?!
You are in Christ, A new creation, the old man is gone, he is dead. You’re alive in Christ. He calls you perfect👊🏼 not because you act perfect because He made in you a perfect spirit when you believed He gave you His righteousness for your unrighteousness. Dead to self, alive in Christ💯
We all suck, only He makes us perfect💪🏼
Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith. He is the King of Kings Lord of Lords

This hit deep this morning. Everytime I get tired of being here God is right there encouraging and motivating to keep going one step at a time.

1 Peter 4:12-19

12;Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13;But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14;If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

15;But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

16;Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

19;Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Guys take your Birthdate and then apply it to the book of Matthew and that is "your" official Bible verse. For instance mine is May 14th (the same exact day Israel became a Nation)

Matthew 5:14

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”

This verse from the King James Version appears in Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, emphasizing the calling of His followers to live visibly righteous lives that illuminate truth and goodness to others. The imagery of a city on a hill highlights how genuine faith naturally becomes evident, serving as a guide and witness to the world.
