The alleged similarities between Christ and the Egyptian god Horus are largely considered by historians and Egyptologists to be inaccurate or based on misinterpretations and fabrications of ancient myths, not an accepted fact. The idea that the Jesus story is a retelling of the Horus myth is a modern theory, often circulated online, that is not supported by scholarly consensus.

Absolutely

If anything the accuracies shown are of Michael the Archangel and Jesus Christ being the same spiritual being.

Thoughts?

And lo, a voice came from Heaven, saying, “This Is My Beloved Son (Jesus), In Whom I Am Well Pleased.”

No one can come to Me (Jesus) unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me]; and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, so death spread to all people [no one being able to stop it or escape its power], because they all sinned. Sin was [committed] in the world before the Law [was given], but sin is not charged [against anyone] when there is no law [against it]. Yet death ruled [over mankind] from Adam to Moses [the Lawgiver], even over those who had sinned Adam did. Adam is a type of Him (Christ) who was to come [but in reverse—Adam brought destruction, Christ brought salvation

For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God. For it is written and forever remains written,

Michael is a warrior in the Bible, he speaks 4 words in Jude. “ The Lord rebuke you” making it clear he is not the Lord.

The book of Daniel hss more written about Micheal, his battle with the prince of Persia over Daniel’s prayer being delayed 3 weeks. He’s the great warrior Angel spoken of in revelation also.

The spirit realm is very real and there are principalities and powers of darkness over entire territories that are controlled through aligning with them and being in agreement with them, its faith in reverse so to speak.

It’s literally how a person can become possessed or strongly oppressed demonically simply by staying in and agreeing with lying deceiving spirits of darkness, pharmakia (witchcraft), worship of idols, angels, saints and etc...

Think***spirit of anti christ’ that spirit main objective is keep a man not believing Jesus is the only Christ . Yet rather anything else as a way to salvation, coexist comes to mind. The verses I copied and notes I added explain how the cross is foolishness to many who are perishing

Brother, Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings it’seven tattooed on his leg as written when He returns in revelation with 10’s0000 of believers

Jesus name is the name above all names and has power over these forces of darkness. Michaels name has zero power over them, none. He wars with them on Gods behalf, therefore ours was well. Jesus conquered the deveil at the cross, death could not hold Him, because HE knew no sin, He was innocent so God was legally able to raise Him up. God is super legalistic when it comes to the spirit realm.

Sio legalistic in fact, God poured HIs justice out on sin on Jesus His own Son.
Michael being an angel warrior can’t even qualify to be the eternal price paid for sin

..

I wrote this out with good intentions, to show the severity of the question at hand and the permanency of the answer to the matter, this isn't one of opinion, it’s not open for discussion. Remember brother, many people have taken on Christianity as their job, its for money, their books have been edited for sale, Their a are not many testimonies and many rarely speak of the blood of Christ which paid the price, His righteousness for our unrighteousness
Remember God is judging identities not actions for salvation, is your identity in Michael the arch angel or Jesus the Son of the Living God

Much love and respect to you Wesley and all of us who have take the time to share in this thread our humble stories, our insecurities and mostly important our glorification of our Heaven Father through Jesus Christ our Lord

That is a view that the Jehovah Witnesses hold. I personally believe that is egregious error. Jesus (His name is Yeshua) is God. He is not a created being although I do understand why they think so.

John 1:1 states In the beginning was the Word (Logos) and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The JW translators change this verse and insert an indefinite article before God (Theos) in their New World translation. They render the verse ..."and the word was a god". They claim because there isn't a definite article in the Greek before Theos they can render the verse "a god". This is false but unless you know Greek you have to trust the experts. When I took Greek this is one of the first things they taught us. The example to prove this is simple. The verse "God is love" is correctly translated from the Greek. You would never say God is a love. Both verses are predicate nominatives where the definite article is used to identify the subject. In this grammatical construction the definite article (the) is placed before the subject. Since the Logos (Word) is the subject, the Greek rule is to place the definite article before Logos not Theos.

Below is a scan of a page of my beginning Greek text book from when I took Greek in the late 90's.

Why is this important? Many Christians believe if you do NOT believe Yeshua is Jehovah God then you cannot be saved. I could write much more on the topic as I have struggled with this my entire adult life but this is enough for now.

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness

Thank God for it or I would've been gone a loooooooong time ago. 🙏

What does this hand gesture mean?
The fingers spell out “IC XC”, a widely used four letter abbreviation of the Greek for Jesus (IHCOYC) Christ (XPICTOC).

Ironically His given name is Yeshua. He would have been called Yeshua in both Hebrew and Aramaic. The Son of God was never once called Jesus while He was on earth. Not a huge deal but people seem surprised when they find out.

If that's what you want to think. I dont believe a person named Christ ever existed to begin with.

Funny you guys always have to make him look like a white European instead of a brown Jew. I've debated so many Christians, and many of them cant even admit they follow a Jewish text, written by jews, amd worship a jew. If Christ was real, which is unlikely, he was a brown middle eastern inbred. Genetics show Arabs are more genetically similar to ancient jews than many modern jews. Bibi isnt even a real ethnic jew himself. The cope is hard. See how people in here cant even admit that Jews took from polytheistic religions of the time. No, the brown sandniggers that couldn't build anything, are God's divine people and chosen by God! Christianity is nothing but a jew psy op to make white Europeans weak minded instead of remembering their pagan roots that are embodied in norse and Greek mythology. Leftists will let all the illegals into white countries while right wingers want legal migrants to take over white countries as long as their Christians. None of you will understand multiculturalism doesn't work. Whites used to be 38% of the population, now only 7%. The great white replacement is happening, and you Christians blindly accept it because "we're all equal". Our ancestors would have never accepted defeat like this. Our society and race will be gone in 50 years at this pace, just like the jews want. Enjoy serving your jew gods and false ideology.

The problem with your statement is that many so called historians is they are nothing but theologians aligned with their religion, either, Christianity, Jewdism, or Islam. Many historians actually realize Jewdism borrowed from other pagan religions of the time just like everyone else was doing. That includes the story of Christ.

A couple of Jews writing about Christ a couple centuries later and putting it in scripture as proof is a hard thing to sell. Amazing that people, including some historians, actually follow this sort of logic. And most of the Romans, were writing about the rise of Christians, not Christ himself.
The question of Jesus’ historical existence has been debated for centuries. However, the majority of secular and religious historians affirm that Jesus of Nazareth was an actual historical figure. This conclusion is based on various ancient sources, including Roman, Jewish, and Christian writings.

You can debate in your head all you want about this and that on this realm but when you meet your end and no one is around to hear you there’s only one name you will call out. we are all sinners there’s nothing much we can actually do or say except to bend the knee to God.
