Hi everyone,

I’ve been feeling unusually stressed lately due to work and personal commitments. I’m curious if anyone has experience with natural supplements that help reduce stress and anxiety. I’m looking for options that are safe, effective, and ideally backed by research.

Things like adaptogens, vitamins, or herbal remedies have caught my eye, but I’m unsure which actually make a noticeable difference. Has anyone tried magnesium, ashwagandha, or other stress-relief supplements?

How long did it take to notice results, and were there any side effects?

Any personal experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not my cup of tea, but it seems ashwagandha works for that kind of stuff. Obviously, don’t expect supplements to move your hormones that much.

I love magnesium biglycinate hunt he evening for sleep and general relaxation. When stress is acute, I've used ashwaganda. I'm very sensitive so I found it effective. It takes the edge off. I find stress states motivating so I only supplement against stress occasionally. I used Thorne's Stress Balance. I will state the obvious as well. Exercise is the single most effective means for me to sort myself out. Exercise and daily sauna. If you don't mind heat, do yourself a huge favor and get a sauna.

I’d say l theanine is heavily slept on. When paired with Ashwaganda it’s really a fantastic stack. I use it in my sleep protocol and it works well

Also take Ashwaganda in the morning and I like it. Good “feels” without the sedation.

L Theanine is really important for those of us that train hard because it resets your CNS, I have even read it helps with ADHD, which I have. I also add zinc bisglycinate at night, it is highly bioavailable and doesn’t tear your stomach up.
