I remember seeing this when it came out at an afternoon showing. There was a mom and her two kids there (a boy and a girl maybe around ten years old). The mom mistakenly must have thought that because this was an animated movie that it must be for kids. This definitely was not a kids movie.

Somehow she managed to stick it out almost to the end but what finally caused her to head for the door was the big finish when Darkwolf kills Nekron. In particular when Nekron shrieks in agony after getting blasted in the chest with a battle ax and then Darkwolf lines him up for the death blow (in slow motion). That's what finally had her heading for the door carrying the daughter (who was sobbing) while dragging away the son (who was desperately looking over his shoulder to watch because he didn't want to leave).
