The push pump stuff. Killer session. Strength in the shoulder is getting better each week.

3 weeks into my blast now. First time since the show I've ran more then a cruise dose so I'm excited to see how it goes.

750mg test
300mg npp
300mg mast
4iu gh

Been using 250mg metformin 2x a day for a few weeks now. No issues with gut distress and blood sugars are staying around 90-100 fasted with food increasing.

2 days ago added in 6 units if log pre training.

Split changes -

Pull
Chest and delts
Off
Legs
Off
Back and biceps
Chest delts triceps
Off
Legs
Off

Repeat.

Should get more frequent rest but increase frequency on legs and a little less with upper body.

Chest and delts are the big focus for now so, hopefully they respond.

Slowly and surely.

Chest has been a big focus the last few weeks and it's starting to show.

My chest wasn't "weak" but, my delts over powered it a good bit. Little tweaks here and there over the last 2 months in training and meals/food leading into chest day have seemed to paid off.

Today was push, didn't get a picture of the log book but

Reverse Pec deck ss cable fly 4x15
Decline machine press 1*15, 2*10, 1*10/10
Upright row 3*15
Triceps Extension 3*20
Jm press 3*15

Aaaaand a back double after today's training.

Working working working.

Work is still crushing my balls. Current schedule is 6pm-6am 5 days on 1 day off, 6 days on 2 days off, repeat.

I've been on this, or a very similar schedule, since last August. Never really get used to it. Putting a lot of money away in savings though and getting some other purchases taken care of. (kids first car, vacations and so on)

Training and diet have been going very well. Food is slowly going up along with body weight. Strength is by far the highest its ever been aside from chest stuff which I've consciously pulled back to avoid any future injuries. Supplementing the lower weights with added volume and connecting better with the muscles.

Bodyweight was 253 for the most part this week. Quads are still separated and can still see some feathers in the right one. Mid section is holding on as well which is nice.

I don't think I'm going to get past that 265 mark like last off season (even though it wasn't the prettiest) but, there is still plenty of time and I'm in no rush. If things continue on this route I'll gladly be happy to hit 260 in better shape though.

Pull day.

Good session. Really connecting with my back the best I ever had these days. Progress is coming!

One of my training day meals

Chicken
Green beans
Rice
Eggs
Granola
Olive oil

The Granola is a newer thing. Doesn't really fill me up which kinda sucks since I stay hungry but, keeps overall volume down with calories being higher.

I love oats and honey granola. If I'm wanting something different it makes a nice snack.

Thickness.

The iron lion injectables are spot on. Zero pip and results are coming.

As usual, the gh is working its magic too. Using the grey tops atm and besides the numbness during sleep they're also exceptional.

Glute and quad focused leg day yday.

These "half" hacks (the machine where the pad is just on your lower back and butt) are brutal. Absolutely torch my quads. High reps here are working nicely. Added to my second set since I over shot Reps on the first and gassed pretty hard but, still ground them out. The muscle round after was torture.

Took the weekend off.

Went to the casino with my wife for our anniversary and had a great time.

We did pretty well and paid for almost the entire trip since lady luck was on our side.

Back to it tomorrow, back and biceps then the 6 day work week begins.

Received a little care pack of orange tops from iron lion before I left as well! Best gh out there

Chest and delts yday. Starting to make some progress there. Shoulder feels pretty good lately and as long as I do a lengthy warm up it hasn't been giving me any real issues.

There is a tinge of weakness or instability there still though so, I assume there's an injury lurking that hasn't or won't heal completely. Just gotta stay smart.

Slept 12 hours today, couldn't get enough it seems.

I wish I had an extra 4 hours every day just to get enough sleep!

I can't imagine how much I'm leaving on the table just from lack of sleep

How much sleep on average do you get a day? I usually get 6-7, I function ok on that but when I occasionally get 8-9 I can feel a major difference and feel much better. Also I occasionally only get 4-5 hrs and on those days I feel wrecked.

5 hours average.

I get home from work at 630 am, usually asleep at 7, get up at noon. That gives me just enough time to wake up, drink my gut shake, wait 20 minutes, eat my pre workout meal, wait an hour, go train then do cardio until 3 or so, get back home, pack my food, shower and leave at 5pm for work at 6 since traffic is worse at night.

6 days on, 2 days off.

On my days off training when I work, I might get 6 hours of sleep but my body wakes me up at noon now 90% of the time.

When I don't have work, I'll go to bed as early as my body will let me, sometimes 8pm and sleep until noon the next day but that's become more and more rare.

I've also get TOS from the gh so I wake up a couple times when I'm asleep. That's not helpful

Food has increased again this week.

With the weather heating up my body is burning through the calories faster since I do work outside, thank God it's nights because I'm already soaked in sweat at 80 degrees, and it's pretty active work. I get around 16k steps in each night and a third of those are a sought jog/run.

Weight is holding around 253, down from 255 last week. Still have some abs, quads are still outlined, pretty good spot for this deep into my growing phase.

Gear, I never talked about it.

Per week - all iron lion product
300mg mast p
300mg npp
850mg test

Gh - Orange tops
8iu post training only

Added in 50mg anadrol pre workout on upper body days only.

I'm also using 6iu humalog pre workout only and 250mg metformin with my first and 5th meal of the day.

Training adjusted as well this week.

My quads, even though they're still "lean" haven't ballooned up like they usually do in the off season. I think part of this is from training style and part from work.

Switched to more quad dominant work this week and moved some hamstring work to back day.

Taking a Deload this week.

First real break in training since the week after my show in August.

I don't feel like I need it but, my schedule is fucked this week and I've been pushing hard for a long time so, rest it is.

After the break I'll finish out the blast, check health markers (I feel the best I've ever felt at this weight and cycle length) and cruise for a good long while.

Plenty of time for anther push this year before I decide what time I'll compete next year.

Been crazy couple weeks.

Twins graduated, work changed Again but, we keep on chugging.

Food has been pulled back the last couple weeks. Pretty much topped out at 260 and the fat accumulation started to increase more then wanted.

It was a pretty hard pull and, after 2 weeks I'm sitting around 250 in the morning. Lots of water feel off, strength didn't suffer, feeling lighter as well which is welcomed. Hungry as fuck too.

Adjusting my leg training. Everything else will remain at a single session per week with lots of volume but, legs are going back to twice a week, cutting volume in more then half for each session, pulling rep range back, adding in intensifiers and pushing the weights back to heavy heavy.

That's how the wheels grew in the past and seeing as my quads have gotten worse this off season, it's the approach now after trying something new.

Time to bleed.
