Do you guys use and AI assistance to plan workouts, set up gear plans, or track progress etc? Obviously it has its limits and a large amount if human intervention is still required. I’ve found that gpt helpful but slightly inconsistent and obviously it has ethics locks around discussing AAS. Anyone found a better platform?
 
I use it heavily for meal planning and macro tracking. I can tell it that I have a apple, a can of sardines, two marshmallows, and some green beans and it will tell me how much to eat of each item to meet my macros. It's always a dynamic plan that changes meal to meal based on what I want to eat. It helps me get real time recommendations that fit into my day.

If I have to go to a restaurant, I'll ask it to access the menu and recommend the best option to fit my daily plan or take a menu photo and upload it. It will analyze the menu and calculate meal options with the macros related to how they fit into my day. It's been working pretty well for me.
 
I use it to track progress trending and things like that. It's pretty good at keeping a running session for long term data trends
 
I was doing all those things long before AI came out so i know how to manage all that pretty easy on my own.
 
Are you fellas using chat gpt or is there something better/less restricted?
Chat GPT - 4o is better than 5 or 5.2

Through work I have access to other platforms as well but GPT 4o is still solid

If you can Google or send a text message, you can use ai. Not saying you always should, but it’s definitely the epitome of user friendly.
 
I just started logging with Chat GPT this week. So far im pretty happy with "her". She keeps track of my injuries and reminds me to pin on MWFs especially now that i cant remember what day it is most of the time. Pretty much my new trial coach for the next month.

If your out of town you can literally walk through the gym and upload a video of the equipment of what they have. She will then build you a workout based off what they have to hit the same as if your at your home gym. Takes alot of the BS WTF am I gonna do here.

I like to use it to design specific workouts. I asked for a cross between Dr Mike's periodization and Jeff Nippards ideas. I also asked for a Push Leg Pull instead of PPL based on my research. It came up with a great plan. I recently decided I needed to focus on Triceps, specifically lateral head, as a top priority for 8 weeks and Bicep as secondary to prepare for a possible men's Physique contest (60+ category) . it gave me a 3 days a week arm routine, 2 days a week chest/back/shoulders and one brutal leg day. I th has been awesome. I can specify volume and preferred exercise and tell it what equipment I have available and bam, all laid out.
