{Long}Hey fellas. I posted this in AAS too. I could really use some help with all things related to a wrist surgery I have coming in a few weeks. They will repair some stretched/torn ligaments that throw my whole wrist off stability wise. It dates back to a 25 year injury. I’m 40 years old and reinjured it again(construction then lifting-specifically supinating exercises). I will have a cast for 3 months then some rehab I imagine. Wrist will be less flexible but it’s needed.
My body fat is maybe 12% 5’10”, 200 lb. I prefer recomping lately. I’d like to limit muscle loss while in a cast, but off cycle just started too. I’ll work legs and hike and eat well. Any suggestions to increase recovery time or exercises during recovery with cast is appreciated. Supplements? Peptides like TB-500 off cycle ok?
Already planning POST recovery cycle and wanting to make orders, lol. But really just beginning stages and I still have lots to learn about everything. I really need advice here. Bulking too fast seems unwise and I like staying fairly lean/dry bulking anyways. I’m usually recomping lately. Either way I’ll go kinda slow to rebuild, but will want my muscle back for sure and cut more later. I was thinking DECA( NPP better?) and sustanon and Anavar or d bol. I don’t love too much waterweight so I love Tren though(with test E, Winnies or anavar in this case maybe.) Adjusting calories/carbs as I go. There are many things I haven’t tried like peptides, primo, EQ, T-bol, halo….I’m not loaded so no HGH.
So again, I’m in the early stages of thinking the rest of this year through, but would really appreciate tips, directions towards research, post surgery and post recovery cycle/supplement/diet/exercise ideas.
Thank you gentlemen. (and thanks SBLabs and Alpha Sigma)

BPC157 really helped me with a back injury. Its great for connective tissues esp. Rest and good nutrition with PT exercises will make a big difference.

Thanks Fletcher. Anything special you did with your first cycle after healing?

Well, a few tips on the BPC157:
You wanna do site injections with insulin pins around the injured area. Sort of surround it. Take extra collagen so your body has the materials to heal the connective tissue.
Kaya Naturals fish oil blend is your best friend during and after healing.

As far as cycling, I stayed on test while healing. My first cycle back was just increased test with low dose deca.
I kept the weights moderate to light, and kept the reps lowwww.
With joints and tendons you gotta keep repetitive motions and physical stress (weight resistance) to a minimum.

A benefit of being injured was I really improved the mind/body connection. I had to get the most put of low rep, light weight work in the gym. I compensated as much as I could by really concentrating and focusing on every aspect of each motion and each rep. Doing that for the better part of my first year back in the gym really made that concentration and connection a reflex. It changed the way I lift for the better from then on.

That’s a great point. I had started to get sloppy and greedy with adding weight. I’m still lifting now but just really low weight, higher rep, and really slow. Focusing on eccentric movement. It hurts but they’ll fix up whatever added damage I’m doing lol. Funny thing is, where I used to listen to hard rock while lifting, I’m now listening to mellow stuff. Even classical and opera.

Good luck with your procedure! Sounds like you have thought about this a lot. I understand that your wrist will be out of commission for a while, but ask your surgeon if there are any concerns or lifting restrictions for the rest of your body. I don't have the research, but do recall something about how training one side of the body will still complement/stimulate the other side, so you might be able to work some upper body to maintain or minimize your losses. You’ll need to talk to a pro about rehab exercises for the wrist. Maybe working with machines vs free weights will help to control the upper body exercises that you can do.

Definitely research TB500 and BPC157 for healing. Maybe some of the more experienced member can comment on if doing a cruise with some Anavar or another compound will help.

Here is the protocol that I used after having surgery on my foot. I healed over a month sooner after having the same surgery on the other foot two years prior. My ortho MD was impressed how quickly I recovered. This protocol along with low dose GH......

TB 500 and BPC-157 Cycle for Total Body Repair
This protocol utilizes a total of 55mg TB-500 (11 x 5mg vials) and 20mg BPC 157 (4 x 5mg vials) with a 3 week loading phase followed by a 5 week maintenance phase. Note that the BPC-157 dosage amounts are in micrograms (mcg).

Loading Phase
Week 1 - Week 3:
Monday: TB-500 5mg / BPC-157 500mcg
Tuesday & Wednesday: BPC-157 500mcg
Thursday: TB-500 5mg / BPC-157 500mcg
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: BPC-157 500mcg
Maintenance Phase
Week 4 - Week 8:
Monday: TB-500 2.5mg / BPC-157 250mcg
Tuesday & Wednesday: BPC-157 250mcg
Thursday: TB-500 2.5mg / BPC-157 250mcg
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: BPC-157 250mcg

Loading Phase: In weeks 1 through 3, the total weekly dose of 10mg TB-500 ensures a rapid initial buildup of Thymosin Beta 4 for immediate healing and recovery as well a weekly total dose of 3.5mg (3,500mcg) BPC-157 to further stimulate recovery and provide added support for joint and connective tissue (tendon and ligament) healing.

Maintenance Phase: Week 4 begins the maintenance portion of the Total Body Repair cycle with a total weekly dose of 5mg TB-500 and a weekly total dose of 1.75mg (1,750mcg) BPC-157. This continues through week 8 and the end of the cycle.

Again, this cycle is a guideline based on real world results

AAS aren’t conducive to healing, peptides and HGH yes. Consider a trt dose till you’re cleared to resume full activity.

Give your body a rest while you heal.

I would run both BCP157 and TB500. This should help with healing and quicker recovery.

Can you suggest a protocol? I was thinking:
BPC 157 500 mcg/day for 6 weeks.
TB 500 2.5 mg twice a week for 6 weeks.
I would follow the protocol above posted by 01dragonslayer. This is the proper way to use these peptides. I did a real similar protocol with excellent results.

Hey folks, it's been awhile since I've been on, but just hoped back on and saw this thread and wanted to chime in. I had a motorcycle accident last summer and injured my knee. I did site injections with BPC-157 and it really facilitated the recovery. I was doing some rehab and the progress was slow, but once I introduced BPC-157 things started to speed up for me. Now my squats are starting to get back up to some respectable numbers. : )

Good luck with your recover brother. Take care.

Yeah I failed to mention some good GH. That definitely facilities the process : )
Thanks bud. GH will be new for me. Need to research more. Dropping 10k on this surgery so have to do this on the cheap. Can I get away with HGH fragment or need to get the real deal HGH? You mind messaging me a supplier you like?

Sorry for the delay man. If you are new to GH, I would definitely recommend doing your research. I have only used HGH and at least for me, it is not cheap. Regarding the GH fragments, I'm not very familiar with them; however, I'm sure that there are many folks here that are.

I’m sending an order your way in the morning Push50. I’m going to try to supplement BPC 500mcg/day with:
1) 300mcg CJC w/out DAC, and
2) 600mcg/day Ipam.
Also some Oxytocin based on interest/rumors.
I’m hoping that’s enough to boost GH levels enough to help BPC and enhance recovery.
With everything I’m leaning towards 5 days on then 2 days off. Just based off internet chatter.
10 weeks for all. Cast should be off then if all goes well. BPC might run 2 extra weeks.

If you agree/disagree with any of that I’m all ears. Thanks bud.

Also I’ll split the CJC and IPAM into 3 pins a day. 100*3 and 200*3. IPAM higher dose.
Should I consider w/out DAC?

No worries. I appreciate the response. I’m pasting what I just replied to someone else. Maybe it’s of interest or you have critiques:

5 on 2 off is a good way to go and splitting the CjC and imp into mtyshots will help keep level elevated.

Hey man my knee is hurting as well and it's wrecking my squats etc...where did you inject for your knee injury? I'm hearing a lot of "site specific" recommendations. I know your post is a few weeks old. Thanks man.

really depends on what the cause and location is for knee injury. This is what I did when I had my ACL injury. I will say it’s a hell of a weird feeling with a needle in your knee.

Huh...I had hydrocortisone in the wrist so I know what you mean. I don't mind doing IM and Subq stuff on my own...but I'm hesitant on the joint/capsule injection. Gonna have to talk to some doc friends. Thx again glad your knee is coming along.

My doctor was surprised how quickly I was recovering with BPC and TB500.

When i was a young guy about 40 and natural i had 2 rotator muscles reattached as well as a ruptured biceps repaired and recovered far faster then my Dr. expected. and was back to full power in 8 months. fast forward 10 years had the other shoulder replaced and 3 months later had spine surgery fusion. rods implanted some of the spine cut away. And recovered far faster then expected on 1oomg/week of test and 2 i.u.'s of HGH a day. I think being pro active in recovery and getting in plenty of nutrition is the key factor to staying healthy and healing quickly.

HGH, BP157 are both great option healing. I will add that after a major surgery, pain relief in the first 3-4 weeks is key. I’ve had a Physical Therapy Doc that was a big proponent of pain relief during that time period. Tore my supraspanatus completely in two and my subscapularus 3/4 of the way. Cut down to repair both. This guy put me on methadone and man I can see why it could be abused. I mean absolutely no pain. At week 4 he wanted to start tapering me off but I talked him into cold turkey. He was against it but allowed it. This guy called me every evening to make sure everything was good for two more week. My recover took half the time and I believe that it was in part due to not having to deal with pain. Just my opinion.
