Another rest day, this one kinda forced because I moved my blood draw up to tomorrow morning. I like to have a couple days rest before the draw to make sure the body is in a better state for accurate results. Will post results when they come in. Looking forward to seeing where my levels fall, especially which way my E2 is trending.. which I suspect is on the lower end. Hitting the gym hard this weekend to take advantage of this well rested state.

Sleep was short but good. Only 4.5 hours but actually felt really good when I woke up. Only had two very small awakenings compared to 10-15. Would have loved to gotten more and think I could have, but I forgot to change my alarm 😅.

Friday and Saturdays Log

Sleep is improving day by day. This new med has me staying asleep which is where I struggled the most. I’ve gone from 15 wake ups down to 2, and the sleep feels so much more restful

Been a very busy weekend so I’m behind on posting. My off work weekends are usually spent with the family and catching up on work/sleep which is the cause for the delay. Have a quiet morning to get caught up! Bloodwork was Friday morning, will post final results when they come in, but so far, everything is looking good, and what is off is easily fixed. The cycle continues on as planned. Hit a nice sharms day a couple hours after blood work, and even depleted from that, the pump was strong and almost debilitating.

Saturday we destroyed legs so I could enjoy a little extra calories for date night with my wife, one last off diet day before we lock back in and push through this growth phase. Gym was packed that afternoon and couldn’t get in to a smith machine which is so rare and aggravating lol. Settled with hoarding the leg press until I could barely stand. All in all very solid lifts so far this weekend. Chest/Tris scheduled for Sunday.

Sundays log

Is this what life feels like when you get adequate sleep? These past 5 days I’ve gone from 2-4hrs to averaging 7-8hrs and I feel like a different person. Lifts are hitting harder, motivation is higher, body is recovering better. Hoping this sticks around!

Had enough fun with the diet over the last few days and locking back in to the plan to continue pushing this growth phase. Rest of the blood work results should be available this week and will get those posted. Without results I can guarantee USP gear is the best you can get just with how I feel on it.

Unplanned rest day because I fell asleep last night instead of staying up to switch over schedules. Needed to do all my meal prepping and cooking which is usually done the night before I go back to work, but found it hard to pass up sleep. Back to the schedule and now we will see how well I sleep during the day, fingers crossed. Looking forward to a strong back day tomorrow!

Tuesday

Back at it with another glorious back day. Played hard in the gym today pushing the limits and making progress happen. Moved from exercise to exercise with grace and feeling accomplished. Got to help someone push past their limits and get 2 more reps than they thought possible with their squat, nothing better than helping someone push the bar. Sleep was a little rough today but I couldn’t decide if I wanted to hit the gym before or after sleeping so I didn’t take my sleep aids. Got a couple of hours but it was broken up. One step forward and one step back, but we continue pushing on.

Really late on this one so I apologize. First day off and was very busy yesterday. Managed to get a little cardio and a quick leg day in between all the errands. Kept volume a little lighter this session, joints are getting a little achy with the suspected low E2. Still waiting on that number to come back! Wish that test didn’t take so long!

Sleep is still improving some, haven’t used my sleep aid the last few days so that’s nice, will continue to monitor.

A day of rest to continue to let things recover. E2 result came in it’s at 14 ng/dl. So not as low as I figured but I’m sure it’s still trending down as I’m not fully saturated with the EQ yet. Increased test and will use a little dbol to jump start increasing that. Joints feeing better today so that’s a plus. Will continue to monitor over the next few weeks. Still waiting on total and free testosterone results. Anavar being removed from the cycle.

Ended up on another rest day. Had some last minute things to prepare for vacation starting tomorrow. Well, staycation for me, wife is going out of town to visit a friend for the week so I’m home with the kiddos. Monday

Off night shift schedule this week and so far I forgot how nice it is to have a normal schedule. Sleep was great, granted I’d been up past 24hrs, but we aren’t complaining. I’ll say the lift was a little weaker not having all the food I’m used to having before lifting. Still a great back day. Really focused on the movements today and getting a solid connection. Did a little self care today and booked a 30 minute appt at a recovery spa and relaxed in the hot tub, really eased some of the joint pain. Dbol arrives today and ready to get that going, 10mg a day for 7 days is the current plan.

Was a short and sweet lift, chest and back. Definitely not used to working out this many days in a row and the body is feeling is it. Feeling great but can tell I’m getting worn down. Gonna continue the push and finish strong on Friday and rest all weekend since the wife comes home from her trip on Saturday. Body has been smoked this week, worn out but made it in for the final workout of the week, the last lower body day. Will be taking the weekend off to fully rest and recover and spend time with the family since the wife comes homes Saturday morning. They will be complete rest days, no cardio, no tracking of food, just taking it easy. Doesn’t hurt to have that every once in a while if you’re not prepping for anything. Gets the mind and body in a better state to continue the push. I will return on Monday to start all over!

Monday

And we are back after a nice little restful weekend. Really got to enjoy some quality family time, plenty of being lazy and just eating until we were content. Enjoyed a bunch of meals we hadn’t had in so long and definitely paying for it today. I weighed in Sunday morning at 171 and before I went to bed was at 180.4. No complaints from me, we ate good and back to the plan now.

First night back to work after 9 days off, such a struggle to get back into the routine of night shift. Had a very solid chest day but couldn’t get any solid sleep today before the shift. Gonna take a few days to get back into the swing of things.

Forced a rest day to try and sleep and should have just went to the gym. I knew transitioning back to the night shift schedule was not going to be easy and I wouldn’t be able to sleep, but tried any ways. Only 5 more shifts on nights before I’m back to days for a month. Looking forward to it after 3 months straight on nights. Sleep should drastically improve as it did while I was on vacation. Diet back on track and locked in. Killer back workout coming tomorrow.

Well an awesome back day it was. Completely wiped me out and feeling it today. I’m sure only taking a 2hr nap after working all night didn’t help things, but still managed to do some damage. Weights keep progressing and feeling good, pump is pumping and every thing is coming together nicely. Increased calories some more to try and bring weight up a little more, been stuck around 170ish for a quite a bit now.

What do you know, got my sleep schedule all messed up from the vacation and accidentally fell asleep instead of staying up. Only 5 more shifts left, I can make it! Got a new injectable sleep blend in that I’m trialing, so far seems to be decent, but need more time to test it under normal conditions. Hit a leg day today, probably should have just stayed in bed as the lift felt a little weaker trying to power through not getting enough sleep with the blend. Made it short and sweet with no extra fluff.

How are you liking the EQ/NPP combo?
NPP I’ve ran before, no issues from it. Wish it gave more support for the joints with the low e2 from the EQ. But I love both compounds, treating me great minus that little problem!

Failed to stay awake all night again on Thursday. This swing is just doomed I think. Will be taking a rest day on Saturday to really give the sleep blend and honest trial after a rough night staying up for my shift. Will report back how I feel about it Saturday night.

Hit a decent shoulder and arms day. Plenty of rest so the lift felt good. Strength was there and the mood was vibing. A little too much volume I think as I was pretty sore as the night went on. Added Reta back in the stack at .5mg after a little over a month off it and found it difficult to get meals down, hopefully that fades rather quick. My sensitivity to things really should be studied.

Friday

Failed to stay awake all night again on Thursday. This swing is just doomed I think. Will be taking a rest day on Saturday to really give the sleep blend and honest trial after a rough night staying up for my shift. Will report back how I feel about it Saturday night.

Hit a decent shoulder and arms day. Plenty of rest so the lift felt good. Strength was there and the mood was vibing. A little too much volume I think as I was pretty sore as the night went on. Added Reta back in the stack at .5mg after a little over a month off it and found it difficult to get meals down, hopefully that fades rather quick. My sensitivity to things really should be studied.

Saturday 2/21

Planned rest day to sleep and trial the new sleep blend appropriately. Not upset with the results. 6.8 hours of solid sleep with no wake ups, a little headache upon waking from the melatonin in the blend. Seemed to really calm my system down and help me fall asleep faster and stay asleep. More trials to come, chest/back day tomorrow. Will be trying another product that’s supposed to help calm the system down after being amped up. I always find it hard to fall asleep after a workout so hopefully this product does as intended. Will report back Sunday night!

So far I’m liking them both. Sleep quality was about the same, but the oral version was slightly smoother. Will report back throughout the week on my logs on how they are treating me!
 
Sunday 2/22

Trialed the other sleep supplement this morning, this one is the oral version. Felt much smoother than the injectable in terms of helping me fall asleep and not feeling groggy when waking. I’d say sleep quality was just about the same. Will continue to report on how each one does through the week.

Excellent chest/back day today. Gave 25mg of Anadrol a test run for this lift and let me say, the strength, mood, and pump were nasty. It’s not time to add it in, but I’m human, who doesn’t like to test new things they get? Rather enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what it will do for me when it’s time to throw it in the stack.

Monday 2/23 and Tuesday 2/24

Monday no fun day, rest day and slept for quite some time. I was out hard and woke up feeling more refreshed than I have been in a hot minute. 2 more night shifts left before normalcy gets a chance.

Tuesday was a chest/shoulder/bi day. Played around a little bit with some equipment/exercises I haven’t used in forever. Ended up being more of a chase a pump and feel good kind of lift. Took 50mg Anadrol for a test run, big fan. No more touching that until the end of the cycle.
