We use fiber daily for our entire marriage. I'm pro fiber but it had zero effect on her gut issues. Probiotics were a complete reversal in days.
does that help GERDI’ve worked with a cardiology group that immediately puts all diabetic patients on 5 grams of psyllium daily for heart health, but it actually slows the absorption of sugar, which helps the arteries.

I don’t think the libs are intentionally trying to turn kids into transgenders, at least not most of them.Tampon Tim and the kid-grooming Libs are still at it. Disgusting kid-perving creatures...

Transgender dolls to be available for Minnesota schoolchildren as young as 4 under Walz-backed program: report
Taxpayer-funded transgender dolls with swappable genitalia target children ages 4-10 through a University of Minnesota research program tied to Tim Walz.www.foxnews.com
Transgender dolls to be available for Minnesota schoolchildren as young as 4 under Walz-backed program
The party of kid-molesters and groomers...
They come with interchangeable accessories and removable and swappable genitalia to help children "realize all the different options that exist for who they can be — regardless of their body parts," University of Minnesota postdoctoral fellow Ben Parchem said in a now-deleted article in the University of Minnesota Foundation's magazine.
I don’t think the libs are intentionally trying to turn kids into transgenders, at least not most of them.
More likely, they are so enamored with „supporting” transgender kids that they are inadvertently putting the idea into their heads.
This is a case in point.
Say some little boy thinks it’s funny to put on his sister’s dress as a joke or for Halloween, or some little girl only wants to wear pants and likes playing in the dirt.
The liberal parents start worrying about how to avoid „imposing gender roles” onto their kid, so they start asking all kinds of questions like „do you feel like a boy — or do you think you’re actually a girl?” That gets further reinforced with toys like this and books.
Probably without realizing it, the parents are putting these ideas into the kid’s head, and probably sending signals that they would approve of it claiming to be the opposite sex.
It’s called suggestion, and it’s basically a form of hypnosis.
You can’t tell me that if you give a 4-year-old this type of genital-exchange doll, the kid won’t start thinking about these things in a different way than it would have normally.
The parents THINK they are just being open-minded and giving the kid options, but they’re actually subconsciously feeding suggestions into its mind…
I’m guessing the statistics you are citing are based on adult transgenders who got sex changes. This is reasonable and more than likely has some truth behind it, but I also think these situations get weeded out during the medical evaluation process. The “regret” percentage for medically transitions is between 1-2%. A CABG procedure is around 4-5%. In perspective 4-5% of the CABG patients saying they would have rather died, the 1-2% looks pretty damn good. There is obviously room for improvement, but medical professionals are doing a fairly good job with the process.

I anticipate it will be a whole different story when this generation of kids who were exposed to this stuff from a tender age grows up.
Though I think a big part of this is a fad, I have no doubt that there are „real” transgenders out there.
It doesn’t make a lot of internal logic to me, though, because if gender is a social construct, then how can it be so fundamentally innate that it supersedes their chromosomes?
That said, if someone wants to cut off his cock and balls, far be it for me to get in their way.
As for the kids, I’ve long accepted that urban people on the left have a very different perspective that I will never understand or change.
Aborting them is fine but god forbid you spank them on the butt if they misbehave.
The transgender thing is an extension of the urban left-wing approach to parenting, I think.
None of my business, though. I’ll see how the experiment turns out at a safe distance from my place in the boondocks.
For starters, they all know their gender. soooooo thats a pretty big plus.Biden is gone.
This is where we are now.
What's the difference?

The study says it measures their reactions 3-5 years after puberty blockers and hormones. That’s not very long and using hormones arguably isn’t permanent.I appreciate that you said “I think,” because that acknowledges this is your opinion rather than an established conclusion. That makes these conversations much easier to have honestly.
Here’s a study to look over

I’ll be interested to see what the study says 15-20 years after they cut off their cocks and balls.
My broader point, though, is arguably aligned with yours: I don’t see this is as quite as big a deal as a lot of folks do. It’s just another quirky trend among the urban elites.
The number of kids that will be experimented upon is likely to remain miniscule, even though it’s become more fashionable.
It does make the left wing urban elites look ridiculous to the rest of us in the country, but I don’t think it’s some grand conspiracy to mutilate children.
It will be damaging to many, and probably will be seen as an example of mass hysteria sort of like „satanic panic” back in the 80s, or the demands to defund the police in 2020.
By definition, „progressives” are eager to jump on the newest bandwagon, because that’s progress. Sometimes that proves to be the moral path, as with abolishing slavery. At other times, it is misguided. I think this is an example of the latter but we’ll see.
There’s a lot of rhetoric about the Dems being the party of groomers and pervs and such, but if you look at the evidence, neither party has a monopoly on that behavior. Remember Dennis Hastert?
Furthermore, I’d argue that most regular Dems are not totally on board with all this transgender stuff either, just like they were not on board with defunding the police or abolishing prisons.
I know many reasonable Dems and conservatives. The problem isn’t that either side is actually extreme — the problem is they’re cowed by the extreme elements in both parties.
Anyone who’s prominent within GOP who speaks out against Trump is risking death threats. Anyone who’s prominent among Dems who speaks out against sacred cows like transgenderism for children is risking becoming a social pariah and getting shunned by the tribe.
So, they let the loudest, most obnoxious members seem like they are setting the agenda. And that makes it easier for members of each party to demonize and ridicule the other.
Now I have made this diagnosis before, but I have no idea what to do about it. Changing the primary system? Good luck with that when it serves the extreme elements of both parties.
The DSA or “woke” elements of the left aren’t really trying to build a “big tent” — they prefer to be “exclusive” as far as their political beliefs, which makes them feel like the sophisticated, enlightened few. Like certain elements of the right, they want to be in permanent rebellion instead of arriving at imperfect but workable solutions that a larger subset of people can agree upon. This seems very reasonable, and I agree with a lot of it. I do believe that being transgender is real. What I question is how prevalent it actually is and whether every young person questioning gender today would continue feeling that way without social reinforcement or medical intervention.
I also do not think the research on athletic advantage is definitive enough to settle the issue. Until we have better long term, sport specific data, I think transgender women should remain out of women’s competitive sports. The female category exists for a reason, and inclusion should not come at the expense of fairness to female athletes.
What really annoys the shit out of me about the left, though, is its language. “Latinx” is a term almost nobody it supposedly represents actually uses. “Cisgender” may have an academic definition, but it is still an unnecessary label that most people never chose for themselves.
“White privilege” is another example. I understand the concept they are trying to describe. It does not mean that every white person has had an easy or privileged life. It means that being white was probably not one of the specific things making that person’s life harder. But “white privilege” is a terrible way to communicate that idea.
There are millions of poor white people barely surviving. They may have grown up in poverty, worked their asses off, struggled with addiction in their families, lacked access to education, or wondered how they were going to pay the electric bill. When someone tells them they have “white privilege,” they naturally hear, “Your life has been easy.” Then the left acts shocked when those people feel insulted and reject the entire argument.
If you need to give someone a sociology lecture before they understand that your terminology was not meant as an accusation, then the terminology is the problem. The left often takes an idea containing some legitimate truth, gives it the most artificial or inflammatory name possible, and then treats objections to the language as proof that the person rejects the underlying issue. That is terrible communication, and politically it drives ordinary people away.

What drives a lot of people’s interest in politics is the desire to feel anger and righteous indignation. I suppose that is a somewhat understandable human tendency — we all engage in it from time to time — but it doesn’t make for a governing philosophy…
Gender recognition is the criteria for your response? For starters, they all know their gender. soooooo thats a pretty big plus.
Um yes...Gender recognition is the criteria for your response?
What I see is a celeb doc hanging out with two herion users and a celeb doc nestled up to Oprah.
Soooooo that's a pretty big minus
I’m more of a Theodore Roosevelt guy myself, but either way, such leaders seem in short supply.I think a lot of people in politics do not actually want the opportunity to solve these problems. They want the problems to remain unresolved because anger is profitable. It generates donations, attention, television appearances, and social media engagement. Reaching a workable compromise would take away the very issue they use to keep their supporters furious and fundraising.
I am currently in more of an FDR state of mind. I am not a socialist by any means, and I believe capitalism is still the best economic system we have. But this version of capitalism is not working for ordinary people. When someone can work full time and still struggle to afford housing, healthcare, groceries, and retirement, something is fundamentally out of balance.
A healthy capitalist system needs a strong middle class. It cannot remain stable when nearly all the gains flow upward while working people are told to accept less security, more debt, and a lower standard of living than their parents had. FDR did not abolish capitalism. He recognized that capitalism had to be restrained and reformed in order to save it from its own excesses.
If we do not make meaningful changes that give working and middle class people a genuine stake in the system, eventually they will stop believing the system deserves to survive. That is when we are going to be in real trouble.

great argument dipshit
1/2 my work is on bombardier aircraft, they use the same engines as gulfstream, major difference is bombardier makes an awesome mid size jet, the challenger which is my favorite jet to work on and gulfstream didnt have a mid size so they bought isreali jet and renamed it gulfstream 200 and its a huge piece of shit, one of the worst planes ever mad, I basing this purely on my experience maintaining jets no flying them but its an overall consensus in the field

Tirzepatide has shown some of its most powerful clinical results when treating fatty liver disease—specifically its advanced, inflammatory form known as MASH (Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis, formerly called NASH). [1]
Data from the landmark SYNERGY-NASH Phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine outlines exactly how the drug heals the liver: [1, 2]
1. Complete Clearing of Liver Inflammation (MASH Resolution)
The study looked at 190 adults with biopsy-confirmed MASH and moderate-to-severe liver scarring (fibrosis stages F2 or F3). After 52 weeks of once-weekly injections, tirzepatide successfully eliminated the active liver inflammation and cellular ballooning: [1, 2]
- Placebo: Only 10% of patients saw disease resolution.
- 5 mg dose: 44% of patients achieved MASH resolution.
- 10 mg dose: 56% of patients achieved MASH resolution.
- 15 mg dose: 62% of patients achieved MASH resolution. [1, 2]
2. Reversing Existing Liver Scarring (Fibrosis)
Once fatty liver disease progresses to fibrosis, the liver develops permanent scars that can lead to cirrhosis or liver failure. Tirzepatide didn't just stop new scars from forming; it actually helped heal existing scars. More than 50% of patients taking the 10 mg and 15 mg doses experienced an improvement of at least one full stage of fibrosis with zero worsening of their liver disease. [1, 2, 3, 4]
3. Drastic Reductions in Liver Fat Content
In an imaging sub-study called SURPASS-3 MRI, researchers used advanced MRI scans to look directly at the percentage of fat inside the liver. Patients taking tirzepatide experienced a relative liver fat reduction of roughly 40% to 50%, effectively normalizing their liver fat levels. [1, 2]
Why Tirzepatide is So Effective on the Liver
While severe weight loss naturally helps pull fat out of organs, researchers found that tirzepatide works through direct metabolic pathways: [1, 2]
- The GIP Hormone Advantage: The added GIP component helps body fat store energy safely in normal fat tissues, preventing excess lipids from "spilling over" and packing into organs like the liver. [1]
- Downregulating Lipogenic Genes: Cellular data shows the drug actively downregulates specific genes involved in cellular lipid uptake and fat creation, effectively shutting down the liver's ability to turn excess carbohydrates into triglycerides. [1, 2]
