Well it's covered under a 8 year 100,000 mile warranty, I trade in my cars every 3-5 years depending on what is new so I don't think that will be a concern. As for solar not being available for a while, it still only costs me like $0.13 per KWh and I get between 3-5 miles per so it's still fucking cheap as hell! At $4.00 a galon in a car that gets 40 miles per it would go 40 miles on that $4.00 $4.00 at $0.13 Kwh, it would cost me between $1.73 on the high side and $1.04 on the low. And the car will do 0-60 in mid 5s, has room for a comfortable 5, the ride is fucking amazing, and there is a ton of room in the back. If you think about it if I light fot it I could go 160 miles on $4.00 worth of juice from the grid. It can not be beat!
 
If you bought a car that you you’re really worries about gas cost right now, your issue isn’t the price per 9/10 gallon it’s that you bought more car than you can afford

There are people driving 20 year old cars that they can't afford to replace that are having issue with the price of gas... and milk, eggs, bread, taxes, repiard, medical, and one and on. Gas is just a small part of it.

I was homeless at16, lived in my car and I know what it is to be without food, gas, a home and to just be clean and i also have been in abundance

It was a joke man, maybe a bit dry and in poor taste but a joke nonetheless the less

When I used to sell recreational vehicles, it was an ongoing joke…

All good brother. I thought you were just being a bit cold, it's impossible to tell inflection on forums and typed words. I too lived under bridges from the ripe age of 12.5 until my early 20's suffering with alcohol and drugs, but have more than I need now. I have a couple kids that are learning the struggles of life even with their old man providing a car and house for each of them. I can't imagine what the younger pop is doing to get along these days that don't have the support of a better off parent. Jobs are hard to come by and the cost of homes is fucking insane! I say the same thing about those massive homes on wheels, if you can afford it you really don't care what the price of gas is. Enjoy the day brother!

Premium at Sam’s Club was 4.01 this weekend. Diesel is anywhere from 4.40-4.89 here. I parked my diesel and bought a Tesla. The money is spent on diesel pays for my car payment . I also have solar and switched my energy plan to free nights to charge the car.

I had an Uber that was a newer Tesla this week. IT was so basic inside, but I will say this, it accelerated nice and quickly. I still wouldn't buy one.

I am a porsche fan and one of my cars, my daily driver is a Cayenne. They just made the new Cayenne the fastest production car in the world. It accelerates 0-60 in 2 seconds and I wanna say its 1,000+ HP (maybe hybrid). It beat Lamborghini and that modified Tesla that were the fastest prior. 2 reasons I will never buy it. #1- They start at $180,000 price tag. Who the hell can afford that. #2- Its' E.V or partial E.V. No thank you.

Anyways gas here went down a bit. I paid $5.50 for high grade which now seems like a good deal (even though it isn't) compared to the mid $6 dollars I was paying last week.

I havent had to pay for gas in 15 years, I guess Im kinda apathetic over gas prices, I also get my meals paid but I do notice a sammich is 20$ now

I’m not sure how true this is… but when I was into building cars as a teenager my dad always told me 👇🏼

If you’re not running a points or ignition, a solenoid from the battery to the starter with a generic ignition/plain cut key. You can be stalled out because you’re running an electronic ignition through a points free distributor.

Even running over a particular type of power cable can short out the electronic distributor

Sounds legit, but so did being told I had to wait 30 minutes after eating to go swimming so I didn’t get cramps which was total BS lol

Sea Point Cape Town is about $2 a litre so roughly $8ish a gallon and most of the folks over here do not have that kind of money for gas 😬
