Wait, who is disrespecting anyones freedom to worship? Being a counterpoint to radical ideology is not restricting anyones freedom. Its ensuring EVERYONE has those freedoms to both practice and NOT practice. Just as you would not like someone mandating your kids learn about the ST, the ST fights to stop the mandate that kids be forced to learn christianity or any other religion for that matter. But right now the ONLY religion that is trying to force itself into schools is christianity. And no they don't want a fight, they want a level playing field, so if the bible is forced to be taught in schools, they will fight to either make that an option or force the district to teach ALL religions.

I actually do some volunteer work. It’s kinda like a country version of a big brother thing. Never really wanted to it but because of some asshole here at asf (that would be you btw)suggested it to me a while back in a thread when I was super depressed and vulnerable. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. lol

Now I’m addicted to it and everytime I see a certain couple of kids I’m fucked up in my own heads for days after cause then I have to relive everything in my past.

I do think they relate to me a lot better than most cause I kinda look like trouble and when I tell them some of my life stories they know I’m not bs’ing them. Plus they are mostly dudes so I end up rolling around with one of them everytime we hang. Kinda try and give them a little confidence back that most loose in fucked up situations growing up. I know I did and still do struggle with that.

So yeah I don’t think I ever got around to thanking you for adding tons of stress into my life 2 days a month.

Yeah I don’t know about all that. It’s only my second time through the Bible. I havnt retained enough yet to be figuring out body counts.

I will say I don’t believe it’s a fairytale. I think over time the real events and the info for past civilizations has been so watered down from being told over and over through the years that you kinda have to read between the lines. I also think that different languages or word meanings has a lot to do with it as well.

I get both sides. I’ve kinda decided to use common sense and science along with older texts to also help making the best decisions I can with what I got.

I’m not sure if I was even baptized as a kid. So either way I’m probably fucked anyway.

We know that In the Book of Job 10 people were killed because a building was destroyed with them in it by the devil, ONLY after receiving permission from God, so it's debatable as if we can even attribute those to the devil, but lets just give him those 10. Now on the hand, how many were killed in the flood, millions? We know at least 47 young men were mauled to death by a bear sent by god because they mocked a man for being bald. So by my very low estimates its 10 to 1,000,047 just counting the flood and the bear. If you're going to state some crazy idea that the devil controls others to do his dirty work, then we can always try to add up all the deaths caused by the crusades inspired by your god.
