Cool Nature Pics

WOW! No filters?
Strawberry Moon. I Copied that picture from the article. It's supposed to be easily visible on June 10th...

"This year, the full moon will reach its peak at 3:44 a.m. ET on June 11, according to EarthSky.org. However, the best time to view it will likely be in the early evening on June 10 as it rises in the southeastern sky. Moonrise in New York is expected around 8:30 p.m., while in Los Angeles it will occur closer to 8:00 p.m. local time."

Cool, thanks man. I'm gonna try and remember to check it out.

This was taken on the southeastern tip of Cape Point South Africa
You can see a large beach area down at the bottom. I wanted to go down but it takes hours to hike down and I didn’t make the time, next time for sure haha

I paid for another sunrise today. I sold another 14 hours away from my family to see this one. As blessed as I am to be able to see another sunrise, most days I would much rather stay home just to hear "Good Morning Daddy." I dont get to hear that as much as I would like to. To all my ASF brothers that had to sell time away from their families so that they can provide, Good Morning. Be safe and I pray a safe return for us all and that we see another sunrise tomorrow.

Last summer I was driving to Florida and when I hit North Carolina, kinda near South of the Border firework stand on 95, I literally saw this precise style of lighting. It was beautiful

Everyone else pulled over and sat on the side of the road while I got to cruise the highway solo for a solid 20 mins.

It had to be 2am.

One of the most amazing drives I have ever been on, the lightning did this on and off for a solid 20.

Prior to that, I have never witnessed such in my life

At summer camp when I was a teen I saw lightning strike.a massive tree across the street and light it on fire. .it was awesome 😎

Electrical storms are one of nature's most beautiful creation. Unfortunately, in the south, they are a daily occurrence in the summer. They love the hot and dry air. The hotter it is, the nastier they get. Pretty to watch but scares the hell out of my poor dog. 🤣
