What’s your bottom calories you get to during prep? And max cardio? More or less obviously it varies as you go, but what you’ve gone through more recently. Also, how do you feel at the very end? Ups, downs, how do you mitigate downs? Etc? I know a lot of questions, but it interests me a lot what guys endure and what they think go through mentally, tips, tricks… I just got off a 20 or so week cut somewhere in there and that was fucking with me mentally for the most part. Mental physical fatigue.

Oh man, my low days were close to 2000 cals. It was like 60g of rice 6 times a day lol. I still had mid and high days. You could take a look at my log last year.

My max cardio was only like 35 mins fasted. I get Caucasian dry very easily, so thankfully I don’t have to go crazy with cardio.

You don’t. You embrace the lows. It sucks. I remember not being able to walk or falling off the stairs after fasted cardio. Kratom helps. Naps help. Mitigating stress helps.

You feel like shit. If you don’t feel like shit you’re still fat. Every day. Every morning with crashed estrogen you just wish you didn’t wake up. Stu put me on Letro and asin 4 weeks out and fully crashed me. Test was down to like 175/wk and pulled completely a week out.

The weirdest thing is when you start carbing up you expect to immediately feel better, but you end up getting stupidly lethargic and feel like dog shit. I was overdieted last year. I’m looking forward to my prep with Compton. We are super aligned and he knows my body well.

Everyone has their reason for doing this. You hold onto that reason and suffer. I refuse to lose. I don’t care about my placing as much as I care about a perfectly executed prep and being the best I can possibly be. That is what not losing looks like.

This will be my first prep with my gf. It will be very interesting. She competed in wellness, so she knows the deal. Still…tren for 12 weeks will be rough.

You also gotta remember I’m weird. My off season last year got up to 8200 cals ish. I had two high days a week, 3 medium days, and 2 low days on prep last year.

Hahah love it. Thank you my man. I’m going to try to enjoy this prep and not just be miserable. End goal is the dub, but we will see what God has planned for this year.
 
The baby arm is getting better and everything is starting to come back up after the surgery hiatus.
