Stock market

I’m up over 7% and got much more to gain as it returns back. Even right now I’d buy for those who were waiting for that bottom. Will it drop again? Maybe, BUT the market is still down a lot from before the sell off. S&P saw returns of what 20% last year? This correction essentially gave us another chance to capitalize on those returns. Hopefully y’all took advantage.

Short squeeze on short term news. Possible dead cat bounces. Means very little at this point. Need to wait and see. Nothing wrong with how you DCA'd btw.

I think it’s gold for day traders and quick cash grab kinda guys. I’m long term s&p and chill so yeah definitely not doing anything right now lol

China also weakening their currency to the lowest levels seeen since the 2007 crisis.

This basically encourages more exports from China. Other countries can buy more Chinese products for the same value since their currency will be relatively stronger against Chinese yuan

Fun little game the us and China seem to be playing
 
The reality is that China has suffered for centuries and are willing to sacrifice the happiness/wellbeing of their people regardless of how bad things get financially. People in the US are the complete opposite. With the demography issue of the elderly Chinese population, they are on a bubble regardless of tariffs. The US is in the same position with unfunded liabilities. Anyone saying they know where this is going is lying to you.

I'm focusing on the Alt coin crypto market atm. Tons of AI and Gaming coins are super cheap. Have my limits set if we get 1 more leg down. This is where you can 5x or 10x or more your money. Obviously small part of my portfolio but if just 1 hits you're in profit. If 2 or 3 hit you make hella money
 
I posted my holdings the other day but kind of eyeing mchp right now. Down almost 60% from the high.

Not buying just yet. If there’s maybe another 2 days of significant drops I’ll probably get like $1-2k worth. Maybe if it gets down near $30-33

SAABY and HRTG are cheap and have made me good money even with the large market losses.
Coterra should be a good cheap buy as well.

I'm still holding off on buying too much but will probably add my yearly Roth IRA contribution soon.

Shit, I've lost my ass like most but not everything went down the drain.

Its all unrealized like it is for most, so I'll ride it out and should be fine. I've got a good 12 to 17 years before I plan to retire.

Hardest part is dumping more into a stock that is already deep in the red but it can and does pay off.

I did that during COVID with XOM even though I was deep in the red at the time. Bought up around 37 dollars a share. Even with the big downturn right now its still hovering around 100.
