01/04 - OFF - Bw 180.1 - Sleep 7 - Cardio ?

Check ins today and off day. May do some light cardio since I’m out of town and will be eating out all day. Will track macros or simply make healthy choices if it’s impossible to track. Probably lower food intake to 3 meals. Brought my Whey and some rice cakes incase I need to fill either of those up. Fun fact, I’ve never really been a steak kind of guy, I’ll usually go to a steakhouse and get a burger or something along those lines and it’s because steaks always turn out hit or miss, ask for it medium rare it comes out rare ask for it medium comes out medium well etc. Well, hit a steakhouse last night in DFW area and lord behold, it was the greatest steak I’ve ever had. Mind blowing taste to anything I’ve ever had at saltgrass or outback or any of those places. Medium rare and it was beautifully cooked and the flavor was just unreal. I had a top sirloin at that, not a prime ribeye or filet mignon, wagyu fillet or nothing so I can only imagine what those would be like. Now I see why all these top chefs on the TV shows get all anal about a steak, it’s actually one of the most delicious things you can eat, main stream steakhouses just can’t cook them for shit 😭🤣
 
Weekend in Dallas been great, managed to keep about a 1500 cal cushion in my diet for dinner. Chose a Brazilian steakhouse, (never been to one) and they did the bring you the different cuts of meat in rotation to your table… I didn’t know that’s how this worked. Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, ribeye, filet mignion, sirloin, picanha, lamb etc and for the price of the dinner I had to eat. You pay a certain price per person no matter what, 60+ each to start came out to over 200. Soooo let’s just say my protein intake for today is about 1,000 grams 1736042671578.png

I was thinking of doing the opposite and going into a show fat and going viral for the most “unique physique.”

Brazilian steakhouses can be amazing if you find the right ones. How was that steak compared to the other night? Picanha is one of my favorites that’s not as well known.

The top sirloin from the other restaurant beat the Brazilian steakhouse filet mignon lol it was great, but the flavor from the other place was just another level.
 
01/05 - Push - Bw 183.0lb 😆 Sleep 8 - Cardio later

Hit a good session at the hotels gym, really wanted to hit it at my home gym, but I’ll be back on the later side figured I’d just hit cardio then. It’s very odd training at gyms that are not real gyms, because I’m like an ifbb pro amongst these people 🤣🤣 at least the chicks are fit, but the men wouldn’t even make it at planet fitness.

Been mia a bit on the log, still been working just dealing with life and work. Blew up quite a few pounds after the cowboys game weekend, but we’re back on track dropping weight. Checked in Saturday, coach lowered macros and up the cardio. New macros moving forward P225 C 215 F55 on Training days C195 on off days. +40 min cardio per week. Just hit a great push session, will hit cardio in a minute. Adding SLU-PP-332 pwo @500mcg should’ve taken it pre weights and hit cardio right after, but I forgot all about it 😅 doing cardio at home now.

The weight after 1 meal was due to work. Working nights started last night. Finished all my food by 5pm yesterday didn’t get off till 5am so technically ate todays 1st meal as soon as I got home before bed. Weight was 182.7 ate slept 3 hours woke up 181.2 meal timing should improve moving forward.

Supposedly improves fat oxidation without doing anything so taking pre workout or pre cardio would maximize fat loss as I understand it on paper, really just an experiment since I’ve seen it all over and although not very researched on humans, doesn’t seem like it has any sides. Not like taking clenbuterol this early in the cut risk vs reward wouldn’t make sense imo, but idk we’ll see if it’s all hype and bs or if it actually works.

Everybody is different just be mindful taking it too late in the afternoon. I used to split my dosing and noticed it was giving some insomnia sides that subsided when I took the full dose in the morning pre cardio.

I’ve been on off the board for a while, just recently started logging in again. Back story had a 2-3 months hiatus from training, dieting and gear. My job and lifestyle sort of finally caught up to me and just didn’t have it in me to keep waking up at 1am to train, meal prep and then hit a 15hr shift, which is something I had been doing for the past 3 years.

I let it slide for a week or so, figured eventually I’d get back into rhythm and simply just never did. DoorDash became my best friend fucking fat ass LOL, so long story short, lost pretty much most my size, by disregarding diet entirely and not even keeping up with TRT which I’m stuck on for life.

Jay cutler was the bodybuilder I looked up to when I was younger and major reason I pursued training, therefore the reasoning behind the “2009” in the title for those thinking it’s 2024 you fucking idiot LOL if you know you know..

We’re back in the gym now, PPL split, 1 day off and a carb cycling diet with a goal of 20min cardio 6x a week. This will be a cut phase as we got fat asf.

Hormones: 500mgs of Testosterone per week.
Diet will be tracking macros not calories then making adjustments as I lean out.

Low day (Non training days) 240p, 0c, 84f
Medium day (training days) 240p, 175c, 56f
High day 240p, 600c, 0f

Starting weight 205lbs


Anyhow, nice to be back fellas
