dcDogz very normal log

weight 184.9

had a good push day, shoulder healing up so so nicely.

was able to get some work in with 95lbs incline press machine, and went back to dbs @ 50lbs. I got a little ambitious and threw on 45s and 1 rep in was like lol not happening. went down to 35s and was able to work that. not terrible, not where I was but kinda close.
with the lighter weight was able to get some nice stretch.

did some flat machine press for a little extra work then killed it on chest fly fst7.

I was doing upright rows on the EZbar but I went to barbell and I think im gonna stick to bb upright row. really hits my shoulders way better.

we're so back bois!

so close to regularly scheduled programming.

meals:

mostly the same swapped proteins and went to potatoes for carb dinner, might go back to the whole grain bread idk.
bread doesnt really bloat me, while pasta is water buffalo city , but the bread actually feels a little empty and im waking up fckin starving lol.

im stuck between feeling 9 months pregnant or starving, theres like no in between.

God dammit fucked up. Accidentally drank a coke. Said caffeine free thought it was diet.

Walmart subbed me zero caffeine free for regular caffeiine free and didn't notice.

Mother fuckers tossing them all tonight

I did that at work the other day, we always have sugar free caramel syrup (makes bodytech vanilla whey palatable) put a few pumps in like normal. Thought " huh that taste better than normal" realized it was full sugar lmao. Shit happens just don't tell @Meetketchup

Now I'm wondering what if this has happened before and had no idea thinking back to some wild weight fluctuations.

Reminder substitutions OFF

Walmart won't catch me slippin again that's for sure

Trust no one

Imagine wanting a caffeine free regular coke whose the market on this piece of shit lol

IT WASNT A DIET COKE pull day

and we end week 2 of fst on a great note

really good pull day, no shoulder pain what so ever on anything. ok a little on bicep cable curls, and i was able to return to dual rear delt cables (my favorite).

dropped weight a tad on chest supported row and really worked to hit my fcking lats. it worked! same on wide grip latpulls, although didnt drop weight, i added a warm up set and I think that helped get my lats primed. felt really really damn good like I was hitting that shit hard.

T bar row was pretty fire as well. It is wierd how sometimes I go up on weight and then feel no activation and I have to drop a little to get that activation back and hit the muscles I should be hitting. such a fine little important line, like when one of your meals really hits the spot.

absolutely love the nautilus lat pull down machine. It always hits no matter what. The only downside I see from nautilus equipment is that regardless of grip your sometimes stuck in whatever muscle they wanted you to hit. theres little wiggle room at times with some of them.

has taken a lot of trial and error with the chest supported row to get and hit my lats primarily/exclusively but we're there finally.

that latpulldown machine ive gotten strong im up to 2 plates on each handle, which as far as I can tell is pretty decent weight for the machine based on my gyms users.
progressive overload baby!

besides that machine no particular movements on weight of note, just super solid muscle hittin.

pullovers with fst were absolute fire (literally lats/back was on fire and pure pain)

meal idea for today

It’s so nice to hear you say that you are lowering the weights sometime as well to get better activation. I always question myself on this piece if it’s the right move.

I'd bring the hammer of justice down upon his ass, but I've done that myself. lol

i dumped them all last night. so not happening again. seriously wanted to shed a tear was in shock. havent had a full coke (that I know of) in years!!!

as soon as i noticed i just let out the biggest sigh, through my headback and sunk into my chair at my kids practice. lol

If they didnt look so simliar might have let my kids have them or wife but no way was I taking that chance.

i couldnt even think straight for an hour was like wtf am i gonna do god dammit.

couldnt believe it.

ive actually considered ordering these. apparently some diabetics noticed their blood sugar spiking after ordering diet drinks through drive throughs. apparently, most workers will just fill your drink with whatever.

some claim that their drinks are wrong like more then half the time!

becasuse of that anecdote I only order unsweet tea, and will only drink things I poured myself, been following this rule for awhile.

i dont go through drive through for myself, but some restaurants they will fill it for you, so if im there eating with kids i wont have anything and ill just order a diet soda or something.
you can go to fast food restaurants and not eat anything. I do it, alot. will power baby!

food is like crack to me.
ya same. ready to just start bulking again so i can eat a ton but i made the mistake of publicly announcing how shredded i was gunna get so now i actually have to do it 🤦🏼 or at least get close.

next time im just gunna say im cutting a lil with no real goal so i can turn around and eat again when i want to

im glad im not bulking that way, it probably wouldve ended in disaster for me at least.
woulda been slamming cheeseburgers and 500 test by now and god knows what.
ive learned alot about myself and body these past few weeks, and I still feel like im just getting started, the tip of the iceberg!

traveling while eating/bulking/recomping like this is an absolute nightmare however.
cutting was 10 times easier cuz i just didnt eat. lol
now i have to eat, but good stuff. its so fucking hard.

but it is what it is. measuring rice crispies at the gas station on the floor next to your car is something...

i dont think i mentioned one of my trips, the stevia blew inside my vehicle cuz of the wind and I got ants in the car lol.
full blown infestation. got rid of them at least.

Heavy weights are cool. Less injuries, proper form and actual muscle growth are cooler.

Say no to Ego. :)
i have to remind myself constantly, "youre not powerlifting, youre bodybuilding" - @Meetketchup

All three if you get it. THAT is one of the reasons you're all killing it. It's way more intense to feel the muscle and let it do all the work than heave ho bullshit weight around. Some people can't grasp that.

Now that I'm learning how you process macros and certain foods, we can start being more flexible regarding this, especially with the calories getting higher. The last thing we want is added stress due to 1 or 2 meals a week not being perfect.

now that we're on the subject, i have a 3 day trip this coming week for a wrestling camp

planning it all out this weekend, getting my cooler ready!
but i have a bunch coming up regardless, mostly 1day 2day. so thats good news about being a little flex. however, Ill stick to whatever you tell me to, just gotta get it done.
the backpack i got helps soo much take it withme with all my meals and stuff.
after doing it a couple of times I have better ideas how do it etc, and luckily my fam pretty helpful. my son in particular super understanding.

#1 prepackage cereal weight if any
#2 grainy/wheat breads/ (i dont really bloat with these as far as I can tell) I think with white breads I do a little
#3 bananas (i can handle as much of this as necessary as far as I can tell)
#4 apples(same as bananas fruits are almost non issue)
#5 take a protein powder

ive mentioned never really been a carb guy so kinda discovering what I can and cant handle is super new.
meeting my fat and protein macros is easy sauce.

rest day! 30 min of some walking on the agenda and rest, maybe a little yard work.

Tomorrows go time from what I can tell, (as if it wasnt already), based on the saturday check in. :devilish:
30 min cardio today for me, also gonna heavily meal prep today /tomorrow.

rough idea for today.

ill probably adjust a little here and there and toss in some veggies somewhere.

Enjoy the 500g of carbs and the Hammy dominant day intensifiers. :)
I've come to realize that very little carbs is painful and 500 grams of carbs is also painful

🤣

Never thought I'd be here!
