I have never left at the indicated time, nor with trains, ships, planes...even taxis tell you "arriving in 1 minute"...and then do we know how long we have to wait!?

It has gotten way worse since the early 2000s. I hardly ever had problems back then. I rarely fly now though.

It’s not just the airlines that destroy the experience. It’s the incredibly stupid people traveling. Watch these fucking clowns going through TSA. Look at the baggage claim carousel and the idiots parked right up against it, waiting for their one bag when there are hundreds needing pulled off by other passengers. Why not just stand back until you see your bag? I just ram myself between people now, grab my bag, and if they get slammed by my bag as it passes, fuck ‘em.
Look at the idiots clogging the gate area waiting in line for a seat they’ve already been assigned.
Add to that these shitty airline personnel and their lack of true customer service and expect your travel experiences to be miserable. Watch that Southwest Airlines show. They hate their customers.

I have always been fortunate enough that it was smooth sailing. But a lot of people around me have some pretty terrible stories. It's only a matter of time for this guy.

I have 3 million frequent flier miles from flying past 30 years. All over us to India, Europe, Middle East South America' Africa pretty much the entire planet.

I know a pilot that got a very hawt female pilot fired. She was a DEI hire and when they were flying almost stalled the plane. He nicely tried to correct her after the flight and she started with the "cause I'm a woman" stuff. So he called corporate and she had to go take a test and failed, then starting with the same excuse. But it was the FAA so he pulled her license and she got fired. my buddy says its getting bad. Chinese pilots that can't speak English, etc. DEI for the win

Meanwhile, a friend who was on the forum at the time just sold the business he was a partner in for $2.3 billion.
Even before the sale and while likely reading those posts, he was driving a 458 Speciale, which he sold after a few months because he felt like a douchebag driving it around his small town.
