He cuts right to the chase and takes every set to failure of 8 to 12 sets per bodypart. Theres really no warm ups, pyramid sets or reps in reserve. Does anyone else here train like this?

He certainly does warm up.

He 100% does pyramid sets. Drop sets, rest pauses, etc.

He explains his training physiology pretty much beginning of every video and also explains it as he lifts.

8-12 is a great rep range. Training to “failure” for a “top set” per movement is pretty common practice for bb. Failure can mean lots of things. Nick Walker trains to technique failure, very slow and controlled, Sam trains to muscle failure like in a freak beast fashion. You gotta try out different things for extended periods of time in order to see what works for you.

Hope this helps.

Sam definitely has a unique style. As far as warm up and drop set etc go, he does in fact do them as well. His main philosophy is lift heavy first as you are fresh and have the most energy. Why waste you energy on multiple warm up sets for each exercise? He does his small warm up to get blood flow with an auxiliary movement or at a very low weight. After 5/6 reps he goes to his max load and pumps those out till failure and drops.

Very smart IMHO and I train the same way. Heavy compound movements first to build muscle strength and then finish with iso or auxiliary.

Whatever he does is going to work, growth wise, because he's 21, juiced to the max, and hasn't been training long enough for anything to stop working yet

There's better people to model your training philosophy after, imo

He also eats like SHIT.
Yeah insulin or not, 2L of milk, with 6 cups of cereal, a half gallon of chocolate milk, ramen, and 4 crispy cremes with a full glass of milk is a disgrace to everyone watching that thinks it's okay. And to all the guys who bulk properly with good nutrition. It's only popular because it's what people want to see to justify their shitty eating. I'm all for a balance diet, few Oreos or something here and there just to satisfy yourself, but after I watched that I was like wtf.

In the vids I have seen, it's concerning how labored his breathing can be even just posing and talking.

Totally agree with all these points. But least not forget we can still learn from others who are gaining success. We all have flaws in our methods. Sam is still killing it. Take the good things he does and leave the bad.

Hes gonna find out the hard way, and all his new found income is going to be sucked up by the medical mafia in the end.

Sam is killing... himself.

Bodybuilding is CHESS, not checkers.
Anybody can blow up doing what hes doing, the success will be temporary, followed by misery.
Sam is not a good example for: Food, Training, or Dosing.

You honestly think his training is completely garbage?

I agree that's probably some good to be taken from something he's doing but is wading through all the bad worth it to find the good? I think there's better people to find good points from than cosign anything this kid does

I think his form on shoulder stuff is terrible and he hasnt invented anything new. Hes 21. Anything he is doing is just something he learned from methods that have been around forever.

What do you think he’s taking to grow so fast?
He pushes himself hard but don’t think he’s going to be a great competitor unless he starts listening to a coach

These social media guys are so annoying.
Sam is not annoying. Pushes nothing. AthlenX is annoying. Mike menzter disciples are annoying. Jesse James west is annoying. Sams pretty humble as fair as what I’ve seen in the 5 vids I watched.

A

Okay hold up. You said sams training is trash but then u put Ronnie up there. Ronnie out of all these guys has trashed his body the most with his reckless training.
You said GOAT. Which stands for greatest of all time.
So in reference to him as a bodybuilder, saying he is the Greatest of All Time is silly considering what others have acheived.

Does anybody else heree think that out of every body-builder EVER...
21y/o Sam Sulek is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME? 😄
