Are you cutting weight because you're an athlete (boxer, mma fighter, etc), or are you just fat?

I am overweight. Not professional athlete, but competing practitioner.

4 moths ago I tore my hamstring and LCL. Recovery took over 3 months and gained a lot of weight from trash diet, depression, medications, and mental health.

Currently 3 weeks in and lost ~10-15 lbs. From walking 215 lbs still with some fat, I got to 250 in 3 months.
3 weeks in and getting more intense and I'd say my walking weight now is 235.

My recovery is shit. I sleep 10h or more. I feel lethargic. Brain fog. No energy. Blah blah blah.

Just done blood and urine again. Doctor said it looks great, despite 3 month binge.

My test is low, but nothing alarming, says doc.
TESTOSTERONE, TOTAL, MALES (ADULT), IA
Reference Range: 250-827 ng/dL
My result: 295

Don't know IGF-1 because doctor couldn't justify it for the insurance.

Your T levels are barely above reference range. Is that your first hormone panel or do you have other results around that range? Any previous cycle experience?

As low as your test levels are naturally and your age I would consider trt . Stopping a cycle and pct sucks and for what to hopefully get back to your same low test levels that you’re at now .? That is a pretty mild cycle that you have laid out and will work if that’s what you want to do .

👆👆Exactly what @frank zazz said. You should possibly consider TRT first. Running a cycle could shut your T down even more especially if your PCT isn’t any good. Either way, you won’t recover to a more optimal level. Consulting a doc about TRT, getting stabilized, and then choosing to cycle may be your best option. That’s just my thought.

I would definitely consider TRT. When you do PCT you might not even come back to the natural level you're at now. Best case scenario your natural test comes back to what it is now and you're going to go back to feeling like shit with all the symptoms you mentioned. BUT you're going to feel even worse in pct than you do now and that's going to be hell on your mental health. If you can afford it you should really consider TRT. There are tons of doctors/clinics out there that would prescribe you testosterone at that level.

One thing for sure I would never touch Adex, specially for the amount of test your are taking. It will crash your e2. Also, HCG not necessary either. 3 decades of using gear and 3 adult kids and never used HCG.

The best I've had was around 400. But it was when I was fairly in shape, taking a shit load of supplements that were supposed to help boots the T.
No previous cycle experience besides peptides. Outside of BPC157 I haven't noticed any of the ones I took doing shit: Sermorelin, IGF-1 LR3, Ipamorelin, MOD GRF-1 29, AOD 9604…

Can't afford unless with insurance, and we know how they help with TRT…

IML Gear Cream!

I would discuss TRT with your PCP first and he/she won’t oblige, shop a TRT clinic within your budget. Get levels stabilized and learn how endogenous testosterone effects you and what dose gives you relief. From there, research the AAS side of things if you desire.

TRT isn’t bad. When my insurance wouldn’t cover it I think I was 70$/ month at Walgreens. My new doc got them to cover and now it’s 10$.

Edit: that’s for 10 weeks worth (200/week - 10ml vial).

An interesting thing about testosterone is there's an "ideal" range that differs from person to person. As you age, those levels naturally drop and the symptoms of low T begin to show. Doctors who don't specialize in hormones are just going by the book, which says as long as you fall between 200-1000ng/dl, you're in range and you're fine. They don't quite consider the symptoms presenting themselves in the patient and make the connection that those symptoms are in fact happening due to the fact your levels are no longer at the ideal range.

This is why I encourage men to get their bloods drawn during their early twenties, while their T levels are likely peaking and they feel great - motivated, energetic, morning wood each day, mental clarity, etc. So when they get older, they have that reference to go by when their testosterone naturally drops and they can work with a clinic to find a TRT dosage to get them back up to their natural peak levels.

So while your current testosterone levels are sitting in the high 200s at the moment - your ideal levels might be closer to 400-500ng/dl. It's entirely possible that simply beginning TRT and getting your levels up to that range might be enough to eliminate all your "old age" symptoms and help you easily shed the body fat/develop the physique you'd like to have. Might be worth thinking about and discussing this further with your doctor if he has an open mind. Seeking out a physician who specializes in male hormones would make this conversation much easier for you as well.

Going through this now. Going it alone. Took some blood today. Can’t find local Dr with any knowledge to help.
