While regular exercise has numerous advantages, it is only one element of the overall picture when it comes to your health.

As you become adjusted to your new workout program, attempt to incorporate more walking into your regular life by taking the stairs or walking during meetings, lunch breaks, with your kids, or during your commute.

You may notice that you're more hungry now that you're training regularly. Fill your fridge and pantry with nutrient-dense meals, as well as lots of fruits and veggies; it's much easier to make a good option when you have one on hand.

It's critical to stay hydrated, so bring a water bottle with you, drink frequently, and make water your preferred beverage.

Making sleep a priority can have a positive impact on your physical and emotional health.

Finally, provide your mind with some love by practicing appreciation and self-care on a daily basis. Even just thinking about what you're grateful for right now for one minute will change your outlook and help you feel more cheerful.

Stay on top of health marker and labs,as you start to age..Learn how to adjust and tweek training and diet to change as body does..Look into alternatives, natural ways of controlling A1C and cholesterol..Watch the processed foods and salt, sugar and alcohol..limit eating out as much..

Buy a BP cuff and check Pressure and HR regularly..If some numbers are elevated or high..review your lifestyle and eating habits..

Lastly..to me..
People can still use gear as they age..
IF...they are wise about what they run and absolutely sure their body can take IT..
And the understanding that, what was possible at 30 and 35..is nearly impossible at 45 and 50...Some can,but most can't and pushing beyond what the body can take at an older age...Well foolish...

Less is more at older ages...

Stretching, stretching, and more stretching. It is the prelude and conclusion to my workouts. There are few muscle aches and pains that can't be treated by a good stretch routine.
