We can debate all day on what we think is right or wrong when it comes to protecting things.. my opinion is that he was protecting anything. He left his house, with his gun, hoping he'd get to use it.. and he did. I guess if it is okay for him to do that.. then why aren't the police just shooting everyone?

I leave my house with my gun everyday in HOPES i NEVER have to use it. The issue is you think anybody with a gun is looking for trouble when in fact they are trying to avoid it, and protect themselves,families, and other citizens. That includes property. I mean if it is no big deal put your name and address out there and lets see how you feel when it is your house burnt down...looted....etc.

It's hard to decipher everything in the video. I don't even know if he was the one who shot the guy or not. I'll say this though.. if one of my family members or friends were shot like that, I'd probably be chasing the guy too. He put himself in that situation, made all the wrong decisions, and made things worse. I don't feel sorry for him one bit.

Having different beliefs and view points is fine. I am here stating my opinion, having an open discussion with others.. without disrespecting them. Not sure how anything in that videos goes against anything I've said. He shot a guy in the head, fled the scene.. and then shot more people that were trying to take him down because of the first shooting. But you say that's self defense, right? Shooting unarmed people who are trying to disarm you after you shot another unarmed man in the head. Makes since.

And there's not really any evidence that shows he was acting in self defense in the first shooting. It just shows a bunch of pissed off people, on both sides, arguing. You don't get to shoot a guy in the head just because he made you mad.

No I honestly can’t even remember the last time I heard anyone use the word brandishing, maybe in a book. And if you think your vocabulary is beyond mine I would love to have a conversation in person to find out. Furthermore you might want to brush up on your grammar skills and learn the proper use of a comma, semicolon and a colon. If you’re going to try and school someone be sure that you’re more educated first.

You should read Wisconsin leg 941.20. Brandishing isn't defined and nothing the kid did was illegal with the exception of being underaged with a long gun. Obviously the shooting will be decided in court, I'm just addressing the brandishing you keep saying he's guilty of.

Serious question I wonder how this story would be playing out differently if the kid was a couple months older. Assuming the legal carry age is 18 for long guns as it is in my state (handguns being 21). Everyone is very hung up on him being underage by less than a year. If he was of age would he still be arrested?
