I think I'm in need of medical attention

I, from time to time, will take TNE as a pre-workout for "leg day". I use a specific lab on here that sells TNE. I trust all of their products.

So, this is what happened to me and I don't know what to make out of it. I took 1 cc of tne 2 hours prior to doing legs. I injected this one cc into my deltoid. As always, it did not hurt going in, and it did not hurt there after.

3 days later, it was time to do legs again. This time I decided to inject into my pec muscle. This is something I've done for the last 20 years. Injecting into the pec muscle is nothing new to me.

I noticed the next day when I woke up, my right PEC was super swollen. It was twice the size of the left PEC. Not only was it swollen, but it was also numb to the touch. This has never happened to me ever!

I paid no attention to it because it did not hurt, nor was it red, nor was I experiencing any fever. What concerns me now is that the next day when I woke up the swelling had travel down to the top right side of my abdomen and rib area. By the third day the swelling had travel down into my lower abs all on the right hand side. Today I woke up and the swelling has gone from the right side over to my left side on the abdomen.

I am extremely concerned now. What is this swelling? What caused the severe swelling? It looks like I've become extremely fat. I am wearing baggy shirts so I could cover this up. I can actually feel all the water inside jiggling around as I walk. Again, there is no pain, no fever, and no redness.

Wtf am I experiencing? What is this? What caused this? Am I sick? Do I need to go to the hospital? Is this something that will go away?

Now, I know you all want to probably bash this lab and say that they sold me dirty contaminated tne. I'm going to say that that's probably not the case. I have used the same vial for a few weeks now. I have injected the same vial into different muscles and this never happened.
 
That's a tough one, but I doubt the gear is dirty. It however due sounds like theres a possibility of infection. It could have created a sterile abcess and then went from there, maybe it was near a nerve or went through/out of the muscle.

This is definitely something you need to have seen by a doctor. They're of course going to blame dirty gear because they're ignorant, but it still needs medical attention. Something is definitely not right.

Normally I'd say take some ibuprofen but this is different. In this case I'd definitely go to the doctor

Yes but infection then leads to pain and or fever. I'm experiencing neither one of these. I feel absolutely fine! There is no redness neither. My mood is fine. I sleep fine. My appetite is normal.

This is all very odd
 
Yeah, time to get it checked out with that much swelling, especially if its continuing to spread. You can always BS and say you poked a zit on your chest or something. Doc's job is to make you better, not narc on you.
 
Well, I guess the good thing is that now I'm starting to regain feeling. Remember, I was completely numb to the touch. It was also so thick that I cannot pinch it. It was very, very hard and thence. Now I'm actually able to grasp onto it and bend it and move it around. I can now feel my nails and my fingers touching my skin
 
Not sure if you followed what happened to Phills leg he ended up waiting a little to long and ended up in the hospital pretty messed up. I would not take a chance and get it checked out.

That's why I said it could have been a sterile abccess. But infections can start like that and take quite a while to manifest so it's impossible to say. The excessive edema is strange though. I've gotten a little when it leaks out of the muscle but nothing crazy

As you say if you've used the same vial for few weeks it's not the gear but definitely sounds like an infection.. Maybe you didn't wipe the botlle top properly or inject site, maybe the needle touched something in between drawing and injecting

Get to the doctors and get some antibiotics mate, you'll be fine IMO

It almost sounds like cellulitis but that usually has pain and redness with it. I had cellulitis in my quad and it blew up and traveled down my leg. It never was red but it hurt like a MF’r. I would seek medical attention ASAP and maybe try an antibiotic like cephlexan.

That SUCKS. Your symptoms are spreading fast. If it were me I would be getting medical assistance tonight, why chance it man.
 
Don’t feel alone in this because Ive got a damn lump on my right tensor fasciae, it hasn’t spread like yours it’s just kinda hanging out feels like it’s got fluid in it. Like yours it doesn’t hurt, no fever, site isn’t hot I also tried heat pad several times with no luck. I’m just gonna have to bite the bullet and go to a doctor because it’s not going away and I don’t want it to break out into a full blown infection.

OK, you say it's not going away, but how many days have you had it? How many days ago was the poke that caused it? I've had swelling and pain as much as 7 to 8 days after a poke in the past, without any major complications, but something tells me that you are talking about a longer duration than one week here.

If you trust your doc just be honest if not tell them you inject B12 vitamin or something similar. They might check your blood anyway for wbc count but I doubt for T levels. I told my family doc what I do she says just be careful watch BP and cholesterol. She always suggest me going to their trt doc which I want no part of.

It popped up Monday/Tuesday so it hasn’t been quite that long, it showed up the day after pinning it. And still has no pain or redness and I haven’t felt sick or ran fever, but do t want it to get worse. If I should wait longer I will, but did t want it to turn into something way worse. I always get smaller lumps in my gluteus they just don’t stick out it’s more under the skin while this guy on my leg sticks out.

I am going to put the heat back on it, lightly is what BCG told me . We’ll see how’s it goes

I've nicked veins before and had golf ball size lumps show up. Even got one from a nurse like that one time. And they do stick out! They usually take about a week to go away.

Yes, that is true in my experience too. About one week. I once shot in my quad, and was limping for 6 days. By the 8th day, it was almost completely better, and I was no longer limping. I couldn't even work legs for almost a week. I keep this stuff on hand, but so far I've never had to use it....

how many ml did you poke? Was it more than you usually do in that area?
 
If I remember correctly it was only 2ml maybe 2 1/2ml, I can pin up to 5ml in those areas with no issues though I do rarely go over 3 ml anywhere
 
I’ve had a lump like that twice before, and they always seem to travel downwards. It would be sore and even a little red and my last one started on my delt and eventually traveled down towards the outside of my bicep before it went away. I’m not sure what causes it but I didn’t have an infection either time. But I feel like you’ll know if you need to go to the dr, if it isn’t better in a week from the injection I’d be there for sure

Its hard to decide if I need to get medical attention because it dose not hurt at all nor is it red in any way. I’m tempted to pin it and see if I can pull something out of it and make sure it’s not infection. But it hasn’t been a week yet so I’ll worry after the weekend if need be.

I need it to go away because that’s one of my prime pin spots for larger amounts
 
If I were you I’d honestly wait til Monday and see what it feels and looks like. If it’s going away you’re probably good. I wouldn’t pin it for a while though, probably 2 weeks at least. I know some guys might say I’m dumb for saying that but that’s just what I would do. If after 3 days it’s getting better and not worse you’re probably good

Yes wait a few days, infections hurt, turn red and you'll eventually get a fever. I've had pip last 10 days and I've also had an infection in my quad.

if there is no infection they really won’t do anything, tell you to ice it or put heat on it and wait for it to go away, absorb back in. Cutting into a sterile abscess could potentially cause more problems at this point it’s inflammation and fluid buildup that should absorb back in. It’s not getting worse just hanging out , but I will worry Monday/Tuesday if it’s not going away even a little by then. I did ask my aunt that used to be a nurse, she says if there’s no infection it should fix itself and they wouldn’t cut into it if I went to ER unless it was infected. I’m always very meticulous when I go to pin and always use new needle after drawing, clean site twice before pinning, have clean washed hands and so on and so on. Also know it’s not the gear because I’ve been pinning it all over with no issues.

Wonder what ever happened with the Op’s issue, he hasn’t posted again.
