Well week 2 of Radiation is done! So far so good. I haven't had any effects, such as the extreme tiredness or skin rashes. I have noticed an increase in urinary frequency. But they say, that's what happens when they nuke your kidneys. I am a little upset over the fact that they fucked up my first cat scan. I had to do a second one, and that's when they decided that they would lay me on my stomach and nuke me from the back. All in all, I'm still not complaining. The weight has been making its way back up. And I am back in the 170s. It seems like I am going to have the neuropathies for quite some time, possibly for the rest of my life. This is so far the biggest pain in the ass, because it makes it difficult to even untie my shoelaces. I guess it's a good thing I'm not a surgeon or a piano player LOFL.
I had been having issues at the chemotherapy with them wasting hours and hours of my time, and after threatening to leave last week and speaking to the doctor I waited about twenty minutes for my last session, hopefully they will keep that going. I explained to the doctor that in the last two weeks between copay's and lost salary. It was costing me over $700. Here's where the first world problems kick in... there is grant money available for copays and stuff like that. But unfortunately, it seems like I make too much money. Imagine that!
Other than that, there it is. And I am off to work today. I have radiation tomorrow on a Sunday. Add an appointment with the doctor and i'm going to see if he has any information regarding progress and efficacy of treatment. I will post that up if there's anything to post about it. Otherwise have a great day guys. The tale of the scale in the pix below.
