I don't generally post a lot of stuff about my health issues because I never really had any up until a couple of weeks ago.
I started peeing blood about three weeks ago give or take, and saw the doctor. Doc put a camera up there and told me I have bladder cancer.
We scheduled surgery and today is the day. Im heading in at 1245 and there will be at least a 23 hour stay.
IDK what else they will do as there was talk of possible stents to my kidneys and I definitely get the wardrobe change to a Foley catheter and leg bag for a minute.
Hopefully it will go well, then I wait to see what type and stage. Im hopeing they get that done quick so I know which way to go. I either buckle up for the long run... or get ready for the party and the long list of go fuck yourself letters to some people!
Either way... catch you guys soon... I hope!
 
Hope all goes well. A buddy had it very bad, chunks of actual bladder tissue coming out into the toilet.
After surgery and removing it all, it never came back, and that was almost 40 years ago. He died a few months back from something unrelated.
(Heavy drinker, drugger, smoker his entire life). Best of luck to you Doug..

@Doug64, I am very sorry to read this, except I feel a very good vibe for you in this. I think you come out of this just fine. And i know you know the medical game as good as the best so I am confident in you sir. I wish you the best in this, will say prayers for you and hope to hear some good news right after the surgery. Keep us up to speed, love ya man

Good luck man..life’s a shit show most the time. As men, we gotta stay strong and fight as hard as we can for our loved ones. Just another hurdle. Praying for you.🙏
 
Good luck. My father had it and is was treated and caused no more issues. Seems it is one of the more treatable tyles.
