Hey guys, I have a buddy who uses HCH for cutting because it will help him lose fat. I thought it was used for fertility treatment. My question is, what is it for and when to use it? Is it also to prevent fertility issues in the future?

-Thanks

I've read that as well, but haven't really seen much here spoken about it's fat loss capabilities. It's always been for retaining ball size, libido, and helping hpta axis while on trt or cycles or even pct.

The HCG diet was popular years ago. But i think the reason people lost weight well was the 500 calories a day they were eating. HCG can stimulate a few different systems in the body as it is a hormone that influences a few things.

hCG never worked for fat loss, beyond the effect it had in raising gonadotropins and therefore natural testosterone levels, which were the real cause of the mild body recomposition effects it had. Testosterone is way better at reducing fat mass and increasing lean mass, over time at least.

hCG can be used for preventing testicular atrophy on TRT doses of testosterone and possibly/probably also fertility although it does not (contrary to popular belief) work in everyone, especially those who have been on exogenous testosterone for many years before starting hCG.

I misstated a bit, as hcg doesnt raise gonadotropins but has gonadotropin-like effects itself.
