Anyone else wake up last week and go to get gas, and start cursing...
Gas jumped 20-30 cents a gallon.. again.. this shit is getting old.
Since mid June we were sittingat 3.51gal. Today we are at 4.15.
Oil closed at 89 a barrel in U.S. they are definitely screwing us over..

Highway robbery... its insane what we are paying. Gas should be down.

Around 3.40 to 3.60 per gallon. We're getting robbed.

I’m the previous Trump presidency gas prices came down a lot. This time around much has changed. It changes my perspective quite a bit.

It's. Crazy in sept/ oct of 2021 we were up to about 80 a barrel of oil. And gas prices were about 3.20 -3.30 a gallon..
We are at 89 a barrel and today paying 4.15 per gallon
Just a comparison. In June of 2014 cost of a barrel of oil was up to 107.
Gas was in the 3.66 range.. thats a huge difference..
They are definitely sticking it to us.

Free market capitalism, they're charging what people are willing to pay. Kinda like how there are no cheap trucks anymore, it's makes more sense for them to do lower volumes of more expensive models than higher volumes of cheaper models. The next thing coming will be paying subscription fees to use features built into the car you already paid for (Tesla is already toying with this.) Just wait until AI-driven "price optimization" becomes standard across all industries. Let's say your mom just died and all the airlines know because you agreed to give them all your data when you downloaded their app, how much would you be willing to pay for a plane ticket to get to her funeral on the other side of the country? $3000? $4000? More? Companies don't even bother innovating anymore, it's all just one giant rent-seeking scam to drain as much money as possible out of you until you die. Everything you do will be monitored and you will own nothing.
