Weight lifting belt recommendations?

It really depends on how and what you lift. If you're lifting really heavy, I use a 12mm leather lever lock style for competition. It's easy to get on/off by yourself and still have it tight. Belts for heavy lifting should not be comfortable. They're tight and 12mm leather doesn't have any flex. After the lift, getting it off should be the first thought that you have. 🤣 That's what I use, but like I said, it depends on how and what you're really using it for. I'm sure others will give you some more good options and you can pick something that works for your style.

these are my favorite belts. super fitted tight doesnt move.

If you can afford it get a Cardillo. They are super pricey but the craftsmanship is amazing I’ve had mine for about 5-6 years now I think and is still in pristine condition

Nothing beats Inzer lever belts imo

We used those in strongman and powerlifting when I competed.

I have a bad ass new lifting belt that cost me $150. It's not an inzer but it's bc of the image on it I bought it. I don't go over 315 on squat or 500 on DL so I don't need an indestructible belt anymore. I used to squat close to 800 and DL was almost the same...when ur moving those numbers u need extreme quality

When ur moving 315, which is weak imo, you can get by w novelty. I def could go heavier but after 4 surgeries for torn muscles including a terrible full quad tear , I'm done.

315 is heavy enough to grow..hit that for 20 reps. My legs were biggest when I would rep 225, 315 and 405 x 20.

When I was close to 800. I would do singles and doubles w 545,635 and 675, my legs got smaller and harder believe it or not.

Jesse marunde taught me 20 rep squats. That's the key to big legs. Copy tom platz.. anything he did.
