There's also a huge cultural backlash to AI and the courts are about to smack it down a bit too. AI music generators have been illegally trained on loads of content they didn't have a license agreement for. It's essentially just mass copyright infringement. It's why the AI companies have done everything necessary to settle previous lawsuits out of court, because they know what they're doing is illegal. But Sony Records and and independent artists coalition are still suing them and neither is going to settle. If the courts don't side with the original content owners then this country is truly dead as it means an end to all intellectual property rights as we know them.music is over, AI is getting really good
Holy shit this is so fucking true. I do pretty well for myself and I got lucky with some real estate before the boom but Miami is absolutely the Dubai of the US. Just an insane disparity between the haves and have nots.

Just curious are you a DSA?Oh I hate the Dems because I'm further left than them lol. At least economically. They're corporate shills who give zero shits about working class people, just like the Reps. They all just wanna get people wound up about culture war issues instead of addressing the fundamental systemic changes needed to stop the backwards slide of the middle class over the last 50 years. Frank Zappa once side something to the effect of "politics is the entertainment division of the military industrial complex" and that kinda sums up how I feel about politicians in general. I want as many regular people to have the best quality of life possible and pretty much none of them are interested in delivering that. It would take a fundamental realignment of the relationship between our government and the power of amassed capital interests and I can't see that happening in my lifetime outside of some major world-altering event that I wouldn't even wanna imagine.
Eh not really. I'd call myself a social libertarian if anything. I can explain what that means to me if anyone cares to listen to my bullshit lol.Just curious are you a DSA?
