I like to take a minimum work required approach. Not a lot of reps being performed, but every rep contributes to the overall goal. And I don't choose when to put the weight down, it just does that on it's own at a certain point.
Current split:
Push
weighted dips - 2 rest pause sets
overhead vbar cable extensions - 3 straight or rest pause sets
vbar pushdowns - 2 straight or rest pause sets
Pull
chest supported shrug - 2-3 rest pause sets
chest supported row - 2 rest pause sets
barbell curl - 1 straight set 1 rest pause set
Legs
leg press - 2-3 rest pause sets
leg press calf raise - 2-3 rest pause or straight sets
leg extensions - 2-3 rest pause sets
lying ham - 2 resp pause sets
Leg day did have squat instead of leg press but after constantly seeing pain and setbacks I've subbed it out. sometimes I'll do ohp on leg day. sometimes I'll do lateral raises on push day. shoulders seem to just grow on their own so they're the one bodypart I really halfass.
I prefer to wait 5 days to hit a muscle again; so 2 rest days in each period of ppl. sometimes up to 4 rest days per rotation. and sometimes I can't resist and hit it again too soon before 5 days. oops
I only log the top of my top set. So if its a rest pause set the first portion of it gets logged like a straight set. I look to see every lift increase every workout. So far, I've had lifts progress around 95% of the time this cycle.
current cycle:
250 test
200 mast
200 tren
400 primo
20iu slin (around workout)
4.75iu hgh
500DNP
Just started the dnp today. The primos expensive af and I like mast just as much so I'm swapping the 400 primo for 400 more mast once I run out of primo in a couple weeks. The dnp is only for 2ish weeks, as I mentioned in my intro. I have only ~2 weeks to get shredded. So I had to add it in. I 100% expect to see results in 2 weeks.
Current diet:
I've tried all kinda of high protein diets and what not. I've been making the best progress on 200g per day, with carbs focused around workouts. So given my current situation:
200g protein
150g carbs preworkout
100g carbs postworkout
no added fats
Protein comes from chicken. I don't trust whey so I try to keep it limited to 50g max. I will have lpwer training frequency throughout the next 2 weeks to allow me fewer days with carbs. There will be a small carbs here and there throughout the day as well on training and nontraining days.
cardio
I do interval based and try to keep my heart rate above 140 or so. treadmill at the gym works great, but after doing an hour or two a day for a week or 2 my shins end up fucked and I have to switch to my exercise bike, which doesnt have as accurate of hr readings.
