Actually I voted for gary in 16. So….didn’t like that fact that we had two life long democrats to choose from and my 6 year old (at the time) daughter said that Gary was SpongeBob’s pets name… and to vote for Gary.

My love for trump comes merely from my dislike for democrats…

I agree. But we're divided at every turn. And the establishment is coming up with new ways to divide us everyday. It'll be a miracle if anyone is able to unite this country through the presidency at this point . Any future president would have to wade through so much bullshit, mainly the a politically controlled media, to get anything done. If it's good for the country but bad for rich pockets, it doesn't happen. Make no mistake, both R's and D's want us divided. We're easier to control and manipulate that way. Political science 101

I completely agree with you, it’s not a job that one person can do.

We, as a people, have to do it collectively. It sounds improbable at first, but it can be done. We’ve done it before.

I always remember back to what has united us in the past. WW2, Challenger explosion, 911, terrible things that made us look beyond our differences. It didn’t matter so much who was in the Oval Office, we stood on our own as a strong nation unified against adversity. We have the ability to look past our individual weaknesses and find strength to accept each other.

We argue all the time here, yet we all keep coming back. I like most everyone here regardless of their views. I’d do whatever I could to help anyone here, politics be damned.

It’s in us all, we just have to be willing to lower our guard and show it. Doesn’t cost anything but the return is huge.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America.​
