TRT sub Q

I somewhat agree with that, which why I’ve said it really needs to be a case by case basis. My point is this treatment can be better optimized for people experiencing negative side effects.

I'm with you on that 💯

As high RBC, iron , ferritin levels even high normal are associated with shorter life spans. Daily injects could be more optimal for many. Only 1 way to find out.

Test C. It’s American prescription

Last time I ran subq was like 2014. Been back to it since reading this thread. 20 mg TC daily.

My hematocrit is nowhere near yours but it is always high. Ill get labs in a week or two and see if it drops

I hope if works for you as well as it’s working for me so far.

According to the research it absorbs slower and creates a steady state testosterone level. IM injections cause peaks and troughs, even when the esters. The peaks are what causes the spike in hematocrit.

Your peaks and trough issue you say you were having were more than likely solved by daily injections and not so much by subq injections. Also why would you pin every 10 days? If you were using test cyp, the half life is 6 days so you’ll experience some lows with a protocol like that. I’ve been on prescribed TRT for 13 years and have tried IM and subq. To be honest I couldn’t tell a difference between the two, but I always pinned three times a week. If it’s working for you keep on with it but I’m still on the thought that frequent injections fixed the majority of your issues and not necessarily subq.

I was taking 200mg every 10 days, now I’m taking 10 units every day. It’s the exact same amount by week, just taken every day.

I’d say majority of your change is the frequency not switching between subq and IM,
You went from the shittiest frequency to the most optimal frequency so I doubt IM would make a difference if you’re honest to god tired of the lumps in your fat

Was running subq for several months and switched to IM VG approx 1 month ago. Was having lumps/irritation. Easy fix.

*Frequency of pinning from 3x to 4x/week. Hematocrit had been consistently higher at 51.

Bloodwork Saturday. Hematocrit in at 49.

We’ll see how it goes. Right now I feel great.

Tried sub Q with my T and Mast today. I’m running out of ass for IM. :ROFLMAO:

Warmed up the oil for several minutes after reading a few posts here. Straight in the abdomen. (29g 1/2”). Very nice. No lumps, irritation, nada.

I was having a lot of that when I was pinning subq previously.

Been doing 75mg TC IM twice weekly for a long time. Hematocrit jumped way up. 56.8

Donated yesterday and going to lower dose for a bit. Probably do Subq again.

Were you good and hydrated before your labs? I try to add extra water the day before and at least a quart before my labs. Hopefully your blood donation will lower it.

Yes, very hydrated, I take electrolytes and drink a lot of fluids daily. About 90 minutes before the draw a tall glass of water.

I do live at high altitude but this is likely from spikes in T levels. Plus I'm old....

Interestingly my fasting BG was the lowest in years at 87. Tirzepatide appears to be controlling my BG to some degree. Last labs BG was 114.

That makes no sense. 1500ng/dl is 1500ng/dl no matter how long it takes to get there and besides, it's the ester that dictates release not absorption.

Could it be it absorbs “slower”’in Fat than if injected into Muscle?

Doesn't matter if it takes a month, after 7-9 days the half life of the ester has expired and it's released
Let's not forget oil based testosterone IS designed for deep muscular injection. Medical science has not changed on that.
If you feel daily injections prevent spikes great, just stick it in a muscle.

Nah, I’m good. I did .35 ml twice a week and stopped in March. Been cutting since then. Didn’t notice the lumps until I got leaner. They look worse in the morning, but I notice them all the time now.

Oof, what carrier oils was that? Im going into the meat in the hips and sides. I did daily to keep volume minimal.

Yeah, I started out TRT doing daily subq injections because I was scared of IM. It worked okay for volumes less than 1ml a week, but I’d still get bruises about 40%-50% of the time. Once I titrated up from there subq was an absolute nightmare. Bruising, welts, and lumps for days. And it gets worse the leaner you get. Ended up switching to daily IM injections and I wish I had done this from the start. It’s actually less painful than subq at the end of the day and how the compound was designed to be used. Do yourself a favor and come to terms with doing IM injections. It just flat out works better. Oils IM water based peptides subq like they were designed.
