I have a different thought on all this, as an M.D. (self) educated on PEDs and their safe use.
When using other anabolics, the only real use for test is as a prohormone for estrogen. It's also obviously a prohormone for DHT, which is rapidly deactivated by skeletal muscle so useless for anabolism. DHT also enlarges the prostate and thins the hair.
Tren is amazing for metabolism and nutrient partitioning, and not much is needed to get results. And it is safe at low doses < 70mg/week; it's been tested and used at these doses, in women nonetheless. Side effects and possibly toxicity come at higher doses typically used. Tren should not be liver toxic at any reasonable dose.
So maybe consider running test at a level that gives you adequate estrogen, then a safe dose of tren (70/wk long term or 140/wk for short-intermediate term), then add enough of a DHT derivate to meet your anabolic needs - which would be enough to allow primarily lean weight gain in a caloric surplus.
